Top Ten Low Priced Vacation and Travel Destinations in Mexico

These Are My Top Ten Choices for Places to Visit in Mexico

John Savage
Mexico is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. Because of the exchange rate, and the economy it is also very inexpensive. Check out these awesome travel destinations.

1. Acapulco:

White sandy beaches, beautiful women, shopping, dining and one heck of a night life; who wouldn't want to go to Acapulco? This is one place you will never want to leave. There are plenty of places to fill ones belly, relax on the beach, or dance the night away. For information on travel, hotels, and more check out: www.acapulco.com

2. Cancun:

Cancun Mexico is a travel destination much like Acapulco. The beaches, the night clubs and the all inclusive resorts are something no to be missed. Diving and fishing are some of the more popular activities however there is no shortage of shopping and fine dining either. If nightlife and clubbing are what you are after, you cannot go wrong in Cancun. For information on hotels, travel and more go to: www.cancun.com

3. Cabo San Lucas:

Another beach getaway, Cabo San Lucas is a great place to spend a lazy day on the beach, or go out clubbing. If you find yourself in Cabo, don't forget to check out the many restaurants and cultural attractions as well. There is also no shortage of beautiful hotels, and resorts in which to stay and pamper yourself or your loved ones. For more information and vacation packages check out: www.loscabosguide.com

4. Mazatlan:

Mazatlan is not your typical beach side getaway. This is the soul of Mexico and its heritage. If you are more interested in the culture of Mexico, and its historical attractions, Mazatlan is the place to go. If at all possible try to make it during when of their many cultural events. If you would like to visit Mazatlan click on: www.gomazatlan for information on travel packages and more.

5. Puerto Vallarta:

Another great place to laze about on the beach, Puerto Vallarta is another place full of sandy beaches, and hot night clubs. There are many other things to do there such as cultural events, shopping, and fine dining, but with a beach like this, who has time to do anything but catch some rays and sip a Corona? For tourist information go to: www.visitpuertovallarta.com

6. Mexico City:

Mexico City is the "real Mexico". This is where you want to go if you want to see what it is like to actually live in Mexico. Although this is no beach side destination, Mexico City still has quite a tourist trade. Remember however that this is a city of over 11 million people, so there is no off season. There are tons of places to go dining, shopping, clubbing, or check out ancient Meso-American ruins though, so if these are your interests, and your no into the beach, then check out Mexico City, You can find more information at: www.allaboutmexicocity.com

7. Tijuana:

Tijuana is known mostly for its food, history, shopping and night life. It is also probably one of the cheapest popular destinations in Mexico. This is where most people would take their children so they can learn about the history and culture of Mexico. I would try to go off season, however, because Tijuana is so popular among American tourists. It is also possible to drive there if you live close to the border. If you are interested in visiting Tijuana check out: www.seetijuana.com

8. Rocky Point:

Rocky Point, or Puerto Penasco, is the most popular place for those of us who live in Arizona to go. It is just a few hour drive from Tucson as well as the place to go for University of Arizona spring breakers. Beautiful sandy beaches, hot food, and hot women are three great reasons to visit Puerto Penasco; oh and there is plenty of shopping to do as well. For more information go to: www.cometorockypoint.com

9. Mexicali:

Being that Mexicali is located just south of California, it one of the more comfortable places for and American tourist to go. Its location also makes it a favorite destination of Californians especially. There is still plenty of Mexican culture to be had though, so don't be fooled. I picked Mexicali because it is easy to get to, and yet worlds away. They have the usual attractions such as dining, shopping, and culture so be sure to check out this ideal Mexican destination. If you think you may want to visit Mexicali, check out: www.mexicaliturismo.com

10. Durango:

Durango is like the Austin of Mexico. Known for its arts and entertainment, Durango is the perfect place for an artist at heart to get away. It is the number one location in Mexico for filming and for music. There are even many museums dedicated to the film industry in Durango. This beautiful and historic city has no equal in Mexico when it comes to the finer arts. There may not be any beaches, but this is the place to go if you're into culture.
