Top Ten Must-Do's This Spring Break

Mr. Anderson
Spring Break is here, and with it comes so much fun. So much fun that at times we can't decide what to do and suddenly spring break is over and we did not do anything! So for this spring break, here's a guide that will help you plan out a week of fun in the sun and get everything done!

*Visit a Beach!*
This spring break you MUST visit the beach. If you don't, your spring break has been worthless! If you live on a coast, great for you! But if you don't, take the time to drive out to a beach, get a nice hotel, and enjoy the sun. If you live way too far to drive out to a beach, book a cheap flight and spend at least 3 days away. Awesome beaches I recommend are Miami Beach, Florida; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Cancun, Mexico; and of course Kaanapali, Hawaii.

*Get a Sun Tan!*
By this I don't mean go out in the sun without any protection. Believe it or not, being careless about sun lotion can lead you straight into skin cancer, a deadly disease. So when you go out into the sun, make sure you apply some protection on your skin. The perfect spot for a really nice sun tan is obviously the beach where you can lay and rest while the sun does its job. Just don't burn yourself! And if you never get a chance to get a sun tan, you can also go to a tanning bed just to have accomplished a nice bronze tan this spring break!

*Cruise through the Coast!*
On one of the many hot sunny days of spring break get your sunglasses and hop into your convertible, you're going to drive down the coast! If you don't own a convertible, rent one! I'm sure you won't regret it after experiencing the fun of driving along the shore of the beach with your top down and the salty fresh breezes blowing in your face. Make sure you don't go alone, though, especially if you've never driven through the area. Also, it won't be as fun without friends to go along.

*Have a Romantic Dinner by the Seaside*
While visiting the beach this spring break and after getting a tan, before you leave make sure you have a romantic dinner by the seaside. This means a candlelit dinner with champagne, and a vase with red roses in the center of the table with the white tablecloth. If you're currently single, you can have a nice dinner with your friends! It doesn't matter who is with you, as long as you have the beautiful view of the ocean as you have an exquisite dinner. This will ensure that neither of you forget this spring break.

*Spring Clean!*
Spring Break is here, and with it comes tons of new fresh styles in stores since the winter sales are clearing up, so you don't want to be stuck with last years fashions. Make your spring cleaning fun by having a yard sale. With the extra cash you make, set a date to go shopping and get the cutest looks this spring has to offer! The purpose of spring cleaning is to help you freshen up your image by obtaining newer styles. This way you won't get the feeling of "staying behind" this spring break.

*Go to a Night Club!*
No matter how much you hate dancing, you must get yourself into a club! This doesn't mean get drunk and loose control of yourself; you're going to want full control since you will be surrounded by strangers whose intentions are completely unknown to you. Preferably go with a group of friends, or your partner. Also, pick a club that you might like. If you love to dance Salsa, a Salsa club is a great idea, don't you think? The purpose of getting into a club during spring break is to set your soul free into a fun atmosphere and relax any tensions your body may be experiencing, and break is the perfect time.

*Read a Book!*
Your brain is probably tired of all the pressure it's been receiving in the past couple of months, so reading a book can help you relax. Select something that interests you, because trying to read something you find boring will only hurt your head. Also, don't make your selection to be a great, big book with a million pages. You want to keep it short and sweet, so that your reading doesn't take your whole spring break, but long enough to keep your mind off the real world for some moments. Also, try to select a peaceful moment to read, like when you're in bed in the evenings or early in the mornings. You will end your spring break feeling more rested and intelligent at the same time.

*Go Camping!*
Spring Break is the right moment for that amazing camping trip, when the weather isn't too cold or too hot, just perfect. Although during the daytime it may get warm, the soft breezes will cool the evening down. Make sure you get all of your supplies organized and plan out your camping trip carefully. Also, don't forget the medical kit, sun lotion, and mosquito protection because although the mosquitos are barely returning from their hibernation break during winter, some may be around soon! Make sure you pick a nice place to camp in, but you can always set up in your backyard if you run out of time!

*Have a Family Night Out!*
Your spring break may be the only chance you get to spend some quality time with your family if you're usually on a busy schedule, so make the most out of it! Plan a family night out to a place everyone agrees on if not the majority. Some ideas include a simple dinner at your favorite restaurant or an exciting trip to the skating rink. If your family can't make it out, though, you can always spend an evening together watching a movie and eating popcorn!

*Have Fun!*
The most important thing you MUST do this spring break is have FUN!!! Try to avoid getting angry, upset, or stressed out and especially avoid any dangerous situations this spring break. If you don't know how to swim, stay away from deep water. If you don't know how to control your drinking, avoid drinking in the clubs. The main idea is having fun, not ruining your break by doing things you will regret. Remember that in order to make the best out of this spring, you must place your safety first. Have a great spring break!
