Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker
Strucker is Nick Fury's arch nemesis. The Baron also fought in World War II as a commander of Hitler's Death's Head Squadron. After Hitler's fall, Strucker went on to form HYDRA, the greatest terrorist organization in the Marvel Universe.
Scorpio
Scorpio is actually Jake Fury, Nick's brother. Hating Nick since they were children, Jake grew up to be a terrorist who wielded the Zodiac Key, which was powered by energy from another dimension.
Viper
Viper gained her name when she helped the original Viper escape from prison, then she killed him and took his place. She is a ruthless terrorist who, until recently, held the mantle of Madame Hydra.
The Yellow Claw
Over 150 years old, the Yellow Claw is a scientist and a mystic. His ultimate goal is to achieve world domination. This goal has put him at odds with Fury on more than one occasion, as well as Captain America.
The Hate Monger
The Hate Monger is actually a clone of Adolf Hitler. On more than one occasion, he has been killed and resurrected into another clone body. He has even teamed up with his former pupil, the Red Skull, in order to gain control of the incredible Cosmic Cube of power.
Mentallo
Mentallo has telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, but that ended when he and his partner, the Fixer, tried to take over S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.
Fixer
Fixer has the ability to build or configure any technology. He, along with his cohort Mentallo, menaced S.H.I.E.L.D. for years. Then, Fixer was asked to join the superhero/supervillain group the Thunderbolts, severing his partnership with Mentallo.
Leviathan
He is the supreme terrorist and a brilliant mastermind. He is currently incarcerated but may be working against Fury behind the scenes.
Gorgon
The Gorgon is a child prodigy who developed into an extremely lethal assassin. He has the mutant ability to turn people into stone if they catch his gaze. He is now a member of the HYDRA's high council and eliminating Nick Fury is his highest priority.
Norman Osborn
In the modern Marvel Universe, Norman Osboran has been given political and military power and he has dissolved S.H.I.E.L.D. He used many of its resources to form his own organization, H.A.M.M.E.R. Nick Fury is still struggling to overcome Osborn and take his rightful place again as director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
