There are many artists who have recorded and preformed instant hits in the year 2009... but only a few get remembered and played over and over. And if they are lucky, they will roll into the new year- not only on the playlist at a New Year's Eve party, but on the charts as well.

Here is a list of this years top ten party songs (in no particular order) to bring you into the new year, sure to keep your guests dancing, and everyone having fun:

1. "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is a must for any party...whether its on New Year's or the week later. She's the queen of hits at the moment and is sure to keep everyone entertained well into the New Year.

2. "I Got a Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas
If everyone isn't loosened up and having fun, this song will do the trick. Start the night off with this upbeat, light song guarenteed to get everyone in the party mood.

3. "Let It Rock" by Kevin Rudolph ft. Kesha
Keep the party going with this hit. Kevin Rudolph makes a debut with his song "Let It Rock"...sure to make your party rock!

4. "Hot n Cold" by Katy Perry
Something everyone can sing to, and possibily relate to.

5. "Beautiful Girl" by Akon
Change beats a bit with Akon. "Beautiful Girl" is a different kind of love song, Akon style.

6. "Whatcha Say" by Jason Derulo
Seemingly on repeat since it's release in June through popular radio, Jason Derulo hit the charts with this hit.

7. "Green Light" John Legend
John Legend, a lyrical legend himself, gives the party a "Green Light" with his song.

8. "Whatever You Like" by T.I.
T.I. lifts our spirits and keeps us moving along with the beat in this R&B hit.

9. "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys
Jay-Z never fails, and his latest single is no exception. Keeping everyone in the right state of mind, Jay-Z does what he does best- raps- and Alicia Keys belts her best.

10. "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus says it all with this tune and keeps everyone ready for more.
