10. 'Cry me a river,' Justin Timberlake- This song always no matter what mood I am in can bring me right there next to Justin and just simply say wow. He shows all sides of him in this song as he lets go in words and lets you know just how much he hurts on the inside. He also has an amazing voice that no matter what can really make you want to cry. Just listening to this song no matter what decade it is will always be a big break up song.
9. ' Glamorous,' Fergi- Now this one is just an upbeat song that has a very catchy chorus. If you like to sing and dance in your car with the windows down then play this pop hit. It made the charts for a reason, and just listening to it can make me move. Now I see why it made those charts.
8.'Going home,' Daughtry- Now here we are in a place that most guys can relate to this is a song about finding yourself and finally going where you know you belong. Not many men have a voice like him. When he puts his voice to lyrics like this he reminds me of some really old rock. I am big with 'Going Home' due to one main reason it is trial and error that makes us realize the things we have in our little lives. You don't need money or fame to see just where you should be.
7. ' Far Away,' Nickleback- One amazing set of lyrics, live for the now, don't give up, it will all fall into place. See that is a motto we should live by and you will see it will all like you hear, fall into place. It can be a sad song, but also can be a very uplifting one also.
6.' Empire State of Mind,' Jay-Z- This song may have come out on the brink of the end of this decade, yet the reason I enjoy it so much is it reminds me of good "Old Blue Eyes" Frank Sinatra. He speaks about the five boroughs of NY and how it is a catchy and famous city. You just have to visit NY and see if you can make it there. Than honestly the beat will keep you dancing and singing right along with him.
5.'Hey Ya,' Outkast- Now that is a song that almost everyone knows from cousin to neighbor to mom to niece. It is a song that makes you want to shake it like a Polaroid picture. If you never heard it, which I seriously hope you aren't in this category. Go out right now and buy it. It is just your typical backyard barbecue dance song. That will stick around for years to come.
4.'Meet Me Halfway- Black Eyed Peas- Very good song since this will be in your minds forever. Most people don't understand that in a relationship it is a two way street. You can only go so far before you want to make a u-turn if the other party doesn't meet you in the middle somewhere. The lyrics are unique to me and the beat is very upbeat and has that sort of catchy tune.
3. 'Falling,' Alicia Keys- This is the one song all of us use as a couples song, a love night tune, or just to close your eyes and feel like your right next to them. Her voice is so penetrating and strong in this song, not one other artist in my eyes can match her highs and lows during this entire song. She knows just how to make us feel as if we are in the same room as her feeling the lyrics she sings come to life right before us.
2.'Toxic,' Britney Spears- This is one Artist that she always can make you feel the words, Toxic is an amazing song that ladies can relate to cause most guys out there are very addicting and not good for us. Their love is like a drug that can be addicting just like this song.
1.' Kiss Me,' Sixpence None the Richer- This is a very relaxing song and my Favorite by far. It is very smooth with it's lyrics and music. A great first date song or a very romantic kiss me in the rain idea. Very nice couples song. Can even be used in wedding videos or maybe a first dance. In ten years of pop songs. I truly feel this one should be top on all.So as this year comes to a close, just take out that MP3 player, radio, or CD player. Pop in these tunes, and just kick back relax and then you will catch yourself dancing along with th
