Top Ten Romantic Places to Propose

You have finally found that perfect ring for that perfect girl in your life. You desperately want to make this a night that she will never forget and will hold the moment deeply within her thoughts for the rest of her life. You have been waiting for this moment for as long as you can remember and now you know that the two of you are a match made in heaven. She is the one and the only one you want to spend every waking moment with.

Now that you have found the perfect girl and the perfect ring, where should you plan to ask her the perfect question? You rummage through your head and can't think of one place that would mean everything to you. You can't really take her to some place cheap, you want it to be romantic. You want it to be a place that will express the way you are feeling without words.

You will always remember what the scenery looked like the day that you were proposed to. You will take note on how many people where around, what the air smelt like, and how romantic that it was.

I have conducted a list of the top proposal spots for everyone to view so that they won't have the trouble of trying to decide which place would be better and if it would even be romantic enough.

#1 on my list is a garden: What could be more romantic than a garden filled with roses and dandelions. The smell of the air is so fresh and innocent. The scenery is to die for with all those flowers staring back at you. Can you imagine yourself leading the love of your life to that perfectly quite spot, and then getting down on one knee and asking that questions that you have been longing to ask her for so long?

Things that you should avoid with a garden are areas that are open in plain view. You really don't want the world to see you in a romantic spot like this. You should also avoid gardens if either one of you have high allergies to pollen. It wouldn't be very good to have one of you two sneezing the whole time.

#2 on my list is on top of a mountain: this mountain doesn't necessarily have to be covered with snow. Every mountain is romantic. Besides, it's not the snow that makes it beautiful, it's the atmosphere. Being proposed to on top of a mountain has got to be one of the most win win situations that I have ever seen. There is just something about being on high ground that spells out romance. The trees, the woods, the land. It's all wonderful. Taking a short walk into the woods and then surprising her with a proposal just seems to surprising.

#3 on my list is a hikers trail: Taking a walk in the woods by yourself, just the two of you. Stopping to take a short break and slowly pulling out that ring that you have been wanting her to wear. You are understanding as your heart beats, that if she says yes then she will be yours forever.

#4 on my list is places you first met: sometimes taking the time to remember that first moment is all that matters. Maybe there was a song that the two of you chose to be the one that would always remind you of each other. Showing her that you know everything about the relationship that you are in is defiantly a winning situation. She knows that you care or else you would have let that memory slip like the one wear she always reminds you to put the toilet lid down.

#5 on my list is under the stars: need I say more?

#6 on my list is at the lake: the two of you are alone at night watching the waves splash against each other like two beating hearts. She gently reaches and kisses you softly and while holding each other tightly you slowly reach for the ring and decide that now is the perfect time and the perfect place.

#7 on my list is a candle lit dinner: You invite her over for a romantic dinner. The plates are set and the candles are lit. You realize that it's now or never. You reach for her hand and slowly the words start to drift out of your mouth as you are gazing into her eyes.

#8 on my list is at a special event: Now, this for instance could be a football game. The perfect time for this would be at half time. Having the words will you marry me written across the board for a million viewers to see is just romantic. The only down fall to this would be if the team you were rooting for lost and it put a downer on you for the rest of the day.

#9 on my list is at a park: Imagine yourself feeding the birds and engaging in a romantic evening with each other. There may or may not be anyone around but you don't care because in your mind it is just the two of you. You love her with all your heart and you are going to do this, you are going to make her your wife.

#10 on my list is on an air balloon: Like I said before there is something about the atmosphere and heights that is just filled with romance. The two of you are holding each other tight as you start to lift away. You know that this is it. You notice that your palms are beginning to sweat. You hold her tighter for just a few more seconds and then you take the ring in your hand and slowly get down on one knee.

No matter where you propose, it will always be the perfect place and the perfect time. You don't have to spend a fortune to make it romantic because you will both cherish it for the rest of your lives. When you are ready, you will know when and where you want to ask her those special words.

Very nice and well-written article. (BTW No one should comment anonymously, and you can remove these sorts of abusive comments. You can also ban people from writing them on your articles)

Personally, I ranked your article highly, and enjoyed reading it. I will put you on my favorites and read more of your articles. Kim

"Conducted a list"? What is that supposed to mean? See - when you actually have to write something and not copy it from another website (as you have on many of your articles), your writing is awkward and immature. Kids in school write cleared thoughts than this.
