When you hear about another celebrity wedding do you think "How long is that gonna last?" In Hollywood, the "until death do us part" often turns into idle words. While we often crave the details of these steamy nuptials, some marriages dissolve faster then the news hits the public. The following ten weddings truly did not stand the test of time.

Jennifer Lopez and Chris Judd were married September 29, 2001 and spilt after nine months. For Lopez this was her second marriage, the first to Ojani Noa also resulted in a divorce. The diva also accepted a 6.1 carat pink diamond engagement ring from Ben Affleck before her divorce was final. While love doesn't cost a thing, divorce does. Judd reportedly pocketed $15 million in the divorce proceedings.

Drew Barrymore and Tom Green were married July 2, 2001 and split after five months. For Barrymore this was her second marriage, the first to Jeremy Thomas ended after 19 days. From the beginning, the marriage face struggles. The couple barely escaped from a fire that destroyed Barrymore's home and Green was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Shannon Doherty and Ashley Hamilton were married September 24, 1993 and split after five months. After only two weeks together the couple were married in a ceremony where Doherty wore a silk robe and donned bare feet. In February, Hamilton accused Doherty of threatening him with a pistol and ended the marriage. Neither was quick to shy away from another set of nuptials. Hamilton married Angie Everhart and divorced three months later while Doherty married Rick Salamon and was divorced eight months later.

Collin Farrell and Amelia Warner were married July 17, 2001 and split after four months. Farrell, who is known as a playboy has dated the likes of Demi Moore and Angelina Jolie, married Warner in Bora Bora. The tattoo in her honor will last a lot longer than the marriage did and since the marriage wasn't legal it was easy to end.

Nicholas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley were married August 10, 2002 and split after 3 ½ months. Elvis' little girl and the man who portrayed him twice on the big screen never moved in together. Reports state that the $65,000 engagement ring was flung from Cage's yacht, although who did the flinging is not clear. Also reported is that Presley pushed Cage into auctioning of this comic book collection.

Ernest Borgnine and Ethel Merman were married June 27, 1964 and split 32 days later. Merman, who had been married thrice before, and Borgnine, who had been married twice before, was one of the strangest in Hollywood history. Merman claims that Borgnine subjected her to "Dutch Ovens" and the marriage ended before the honeymoon. Merman never married again but devoted a chapter of her autobiography to the marriage: It was one blank page.

Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra were married November 14, 1998 and split after nine days. The pair had the marriage annulled stating fraud and an unsound mind. They remained on-again, off-again until their 1999 battery arrest and then they were officially off.

Cher and Gregg Allman were married July 9, 1975 and split after nine days. Cher and Allman were married only three days after her divorce to Sonny Bono. Cher reportedly cried all the way home from Vegas, where the ceremony had occurred. The couple maintained a relationship for three years, while Allman attended rehabs, and after birth of son Elijah Blue, the couple called it quits for good.

Dennis Hopper and Michelle Phillips were married October 31, 1970 and split after eight days. The eight-day union was a comical one to say the least. Both parties claimed to have been handcuffed, so as to not run away and the Halloween wedding provided for sentimental thoughts even years later.

Rudolph Valentino and Jean Acker were married in November 1919 and spilt after six hours. Known as "The Great Lover," Valentino struck out big with his first wife. After pledging to stay together, they put their vows to the test.... and failed. Acker locked out Valentino and after 20 minutes of knocking, he headed home. In the divorce, Acker claimed that the marriage was never consummated and that she'd dumped Valentino for another woman.

Those are the ten most memorable quickie celebrity marriages. And yes I left out the infamous nuptials of Britney Spears and Jason Allen Alexander. Six hours and an annulment later, they don't bring much excitement to the table.
