Top Ten Songs from the Big Three Automakers to American Taxpayers

"You Won't Buy Our Expensive Crummy Gas Guzzlers, so We'll Take Your Money Anyway" -- Lyrics by the Carmakers

Aly Adair
As millions of Americans and millions of people around the world suffer the greatest economic hardships since The Great Depression, the American big three automakers want American taxpayer money for nothing. Bankrupt or not, I will never again buy an automobile from one of the U.S. big three automakers after the greedy disputes displayed in the proposed government bailout of the failing U.S. auto industry in 2008.

Perhaps employees of the U.S. big 3 automakers should load these money songs on their MP3 players as they slap the American taxpayer in the face. While we appreciate that President Bush has taken the emergency action needed to help America's auto companies weather the current financial crisis, we are disappointed that he has added unfair conditions singling out workers. -- UAW President Ron Gettelfinger
