With that said, and everyone educated about there being two albums to draw from, let's move onward to the list.
10. I Never Told You What I Do For A Living. Apparently, there's a continuing story from album to album, as depicted in a bunch of the songs. Bet you didn't know that, did you? Something about two people living, then dying, then coming back. Just read the lyrics for this one and you'll get an idea of that story. C'mon, don't be lazy, I promise it won't be as hard as Shakespeare.
9. The Ghost Of You. You all probably saw the music video for this on MTV, MTV2, VH1, or one of those channels. I still don't understand what the message was, though. It was set against some sort of World War II backdrop, but that's about all I got from it. Was there supposed to be an anti-war tagline? With Green Day's video, it was a bit more obvious what they wanted to say. Ah, no matter, this song's still amazing.
8. Demolition Lovers. This one's such a solemn tune. This was the first song that caught my attention on their first album (before Vampires totally did it for me). This sounds like one of those signature songs, full of melancholy and all. Kind of keeps up with the band's theme, don't you think?
7. I'm Not Okay (I Promise)/Drowning Lessons. I know, I know, you're probably saying to yourself, "What the hell? How come there's two songs for number seven? You handsome idiot, you didn't even edit your own list!" Well, hold your horses, speedy. There's a reason for this. Well, not really a reason. The honest answer is, I just couldn't decide. With the other nine, I had a basic idea of which songs I wanted to note and where I wanted to put them. I skipped number seven and came back to it after the rest of the list was done, in order to give this one more thought. Alas, neither song could persuade me into removing the other, so there you have it: a tie.
6. The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You. The music and the vocals just seem so on-key for this song. I'm not quite sure why. The best part of this entire song, at least in my opinion, is that small section about two minutes and nine seconds into the length. I wish I could just grab that part and set it as my ringtone.
5. Helena. I know of a few people who would absolutely kill me if they found out I only put Helena in the middle of the list. Yes, it is a good song. Yes, it's probably the single that brought My Chemical Romance into the mainstream scene. Yes, it was an awesome video, too. But I really think there are a few songs better than this one.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm trying to hide here.
4. Vampires Will Never Hurt You. Or will they? Nah, I'm just joking. Or am I? Of course, I am. Or maybe not?
Anyway, before I get in trouble for reusing potentially copyrighted comedic material, remember I said previously that there seemed to be a looming story and almost half the songs of each album contributes a bit more to that story? Well, call me crazy, but I can't help but to imagine a village somewhere being overwhelmed with vampires. Now tell me this: how can a song that can make you think that not be good?
3. To The End. Boy, do I love the chorus for this song. It's just so unique. Hell, they could've just kept repeating those lines and the song would still be amazing.
2. Cemetery Drive. Admit it - it reminds you of some Tim Burton film. Or perhaps those books comprising of a selection of horror stories (what were they called, Cemetery Soup or something?). Regardless, don't you trust me by now? It has to be somewhat good if it made it all the way to number two.
1. Thank You For The Venom. This is like some crazy party music. It's much more fast-paced, and I could imagine this being played at some dance club. Of course, that would never happen, with the lyrics and all. But one could ponder.
Just as some sort of disclaimer, I'd like to point out that this list doesn't mean all the other songs suck. They're all equally awesome in their own way. I'd also recommend You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison, and I would have put it on the list somewhere as well, but I think I'll get flamed enough with just one tie. But go ahead and listen to all the songs, and then you can think of your own list (isn't having an opinion fun?).

(cont'd) I am a thirteen-year-old girl, and so, at this point you must be classifying me with all the other thirteen-year-old girls who have no genuine appreciation for the music itself, caring only for Gerard and his looks. I assure you this is not the case. It was when I was in the sixth grade that I really got into them, and at the time, I was very insecure and I often felt like no one really cared for or understood me. I began listening to the music and I realised how amazingly much I could relate to the music...(to be continued)

My Chemical Romance is my very favourite band. I very much realise how controversial the band is, how much negative attention they receive in the media, and how many poseur fans are out there. However, I really, truly do feel that this band saves lives. While they haven't kept me from jumping off a cliff or putting a pistol in my mouth, I can honestly say that they have saved me...(to be continued)
This band is terrible.
