Misty Edwards is one of the greatest Christian musicians of our time. She has not received much notoriety as other Christian artists. However, Misty has won several awards for her music. Although Misty receives a great deal of money from her music, she donates all it to missions work.
Misty Edward's best song is definitely "See the Way" from her album "Always On His Mind." This song is an incredible musical accomplishment. Misty's vocal intonation and resonance is simply wonderful and impressive. The song is a wonderful love song to the Lord Jesus Christ. Whenever anyone has an encounter with Jesus they cannot walk away changed. There is something so cosmic, so infatuating, so awesome about the presence and love of God. Misty's song is a wonderful attempt to musically communicate this to her listeners. The song's lyrics are also amazing; this section is perhaps the most profound:
See the way He holds the stars in His hand
See the way He holds my heart
God is a Lover looking for a lover, so He fashions me
God is a Lover looking for a lover, so He forms my heart
Misty Edward's 2nd best song is definitely "What Only You Can do" from her album "Always On His Mind." This song is a wonderful song about God's powerful impact upon our lives. It is only by the Holy Ghost that we can love God. It is only by the work of the Holy Ghost that we can desire to know God. Without the Lord's work in our lives we are slaves to the lust and evil desires within our hearts. The lyrics of this song are simply beautiful:
Just let my heart be alive
Let me be living deep, deep on the inside
Just let my heart be alive
Let me be living deep, deep on the inside
Come fan the flame
Misty Edward's 3rd best song is definitely "I Will Run" from her album "Always On His Mind." In this tack Misty describes her zealous passion to run the race that the Lord has set before her. It is very encouraging to listen to.
Misty Edward's 4th best song is definitely "Baptize My Heart" from her album "Always On His Mind." Misty eloquently describes the judgment of God that will fall on those who refuse to repent. The beautiful lyrics of this song put this best:
"I played the flute for You...did You dance?
I sang the wedding song over You ... were You romanced?
I played the funeral song and told You my judgments were coming did you lament?
For even children know when to dance!
Even children know the sound of the wedding
Even children know when to repent
Misty Edward's 5th best song is definitely "Favorite One" from her album "Always On His Mind." This song is a wonderful portrayal of devotion to the Lord. As always, Misty Edwards does an incredible job of illustrating this point with music and words.
Misty Edward's 6th best song is definitely "Always On His Mind" from her album "Always On His Mind." The Lord truly loves us and is indeed jealous when we forsake him for other gods of lust and selfishness. This song describes how the Lord loves us and constantly thinks of us.
Misty Edward's 7th best song is definitely "Eternity" from her album "Eternity." This song is an incredible song about how the Lord's love catapults us into eternity as we abide in His presence.
Misty Edward's 8th best song is definitely "Break the Chains" from her album "Eternity." The song is just perfect for anyone who is struggling with sin. As this song reiterates, the Lord wants to break the chains of sin and destructions.
Misty Edward's 9th best song is definitely "O How we want You to come" from her album "Eternity." This song is a passionate song about the return of Jesus Christ. It is invigorating and reviving to listen to.
Misty Edward's 10th best song is definitely "Simple Devotion" from her album "Eternity." This mellow, relaxing song helps focus the heart on devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Post a CommentLuke Porter, saying "Misty Edward’s best song is definitely “See the Way†" does not literally make her best song "See the Way." that's you're opinion. I'm pretty sure even God doesn't have a numerical list of her songs from best to worst. Be careful with your judgement calls, good writers know the difference between "the best" and "my favorite." With that being said, I also love Misty Edwards, and my favorite song of hers is "arms wide open"
I believe with all of my heart that Misty is just let her led by the HOLY SPIRIT,thats what is powerfullllll!!!!!.Every early morning,@ 5am,iam there for Mike and Misty, just to soak together in HIS wonderful PRESENCE!ALLELUJAH!!!!
I recently visited I.H.O.P. from Indiana with my family, and got the privilege to listen to Misty sing a set after Mike Bickell gave a lesson...I absolutely fell in love with Misty in her 2 hour set..she played many of her songs that I am very familiar with. She is amazing and a true inspiration! God Bless. It's all for Him.
