10. I want to break free- I think this song can be so fitting for so many different times. I don't know what situation Queen was actually referring to when they wrote it, but I think there are a lot of situations where you want to break free of the situation you are in.
9. Under Pressure- Queen collaborated with David Bowie on this song. It was the first time the worked with another recording artist. It was a successful collaboration. Vanilla Ice sampled the distinct bass line in his hit "ice ice baby"
8. We are the Champions This song has become an anthem for sporting victories. This is one of Queens most popular songs, and its obvious why. The lyrics are great, and the are very empowering.
7. Fat Bottom Girls
Queen was ahead of the J-Lo craze when they had this hit song, little did they know that over a decade later "fat bottom" girls would become popular again with J-Lo and Sir mix a lots' "I like big buts"
6. Killer Queen Brian May from Queen has said that this song best summed up their music. I love this song because it is so different from most songs. It is a unique song.
5. Another one Bites The Dust This hit Number 1 on the US hit chart. This is another song with catchy lyrics that makes you sing along. This is another great song of Queens.
4. I want it all This is one of the bands later songs, coming out in 1989. I love this song. I know " I want it all, and I want it now" Who doesn't?
3. Somebody to love This song is based on a gospel or Choir format. This song is one of me and my husbands "songs". Because when we were first together we saw the musical "we will rock you" and we both love Queen
2. Bohemian Rhapsody The first thing a lot of people think of when they hear this song is the movie Wayne's World. This is a song that as a teenager my friends and I would all sing along to. This is another one of Queens unique songs, it has no chorus, it has a A Capella part and a heavy metal part.
1. We will rock you
This is easily the most known of all queen songs. Its the anthem at many sporting events, and it was used in the movie Knights Tale. It is also the title to the Queen Musical. This is the greatest Queen song, it is so catchy it sticks in your head. This is easily one of the all time best songs.
I hope this short little blast to the past was fun for you, I know it was for me. It reminded me how much I love Queen and all their songs.

Post a CommentI really think the best queen track is the prophets song, not a particular one that is played often either on stage or radio. never the less for it's shear production quality in my opinion is as good as if not better than Bohemian rhapsody. What do you think?
great list, I love Queen!
Good list!!!
