Top Ten Stocking Stuffers for Girly Girls

Judith Blakley
Last season, I gave you suggestions on what to buy your girly girl for Christmas. (Top Ten Gift Ideas For Girly Girls - Picking The Perfect Gift) This year, I will help you fill her stocking with items that will win you her favor.

As we all know, a girly girl relishes in being feminine and she needs thoughtful gifts and stocking stuffers to compliment her personality.

Everyone will be giving her perfume, so what goes in her stocking?

Top Ten Stocking Stuffers For Girly Girls:

1. Jewelry

How old is your girly girl?

Buy Pre-teen and teen jewelry at accessory boutiques in the mall such as Claires, Icing and Afterthoughts. Claires usually has clearance items, called redlines, at the back of their store. Their usual clearance special is ten redlines for five dollars. That is a bargain! You will find different merchandise at various locations. Stop in these stores at each mall you visit.

Adult and some teen girly girls want the real thing. The great thing is that if you take the time, you can find some very interesting pieces inexpensively.

2. Make-up

If you do not know the brand of make-up your girly girl uses, the safest bets are lip glosses, eye shadows and nail polish. The price ranges on these items will accommodate any budget. Every girly girl loves her lip gloss!

3. Hair Pieces

This year head bands and scarves are all the rage. If you are unsure what these are, just watch an episode of Gossip Girl to see that all the young characters are all wearing stylish scarves and head bands. A girly girl can never have too many.

4. Chocolate

Higher end department stores usually have bars of Godiva Chocolate by their registers in the women's clothing areas. Godiva is amazing chocolate and if you happen to have a Godiva store near you, you can even pick out a couple truffles that they will wrap into a pretty little gold foil box that will easily slip into a stocking.

For girly girls, not just any chocolate will do. If it is a gift, they expect you to spend that extra dollar to get them the quality they deserve.

5. Antique Items

As with last year's gift giving suggestion, small antique items are adored by girly girls and you can find some interesting pieces which will slip into your girly girl's stocking.

Antique costume jewelry, hat pins, hand mirrors, and writing pens are just some of the items you will find when visiting your local antique shop. You will want to look into the glass display cases, which is where they will have all their smaller items.

6. Bubble Bath

Bubble bath because a girly girl is special and needs to be pampered. Nothing more needs to be said.

7. Tiny Clutch Purse

A girly girl will never have enough purses, shoes, make-up or jewelry. If you happen to find a small clutch handbag that will fit into a stocking, you are likely to hear your girly girl scream with delight. If it looks as if nothing will fit into it, all the better. She needs them in every size.

8. Mini Photo Frames

Most of us carry wallet sized photos in our wallet. Girly girls have them framed and sitting on their dressers. She needs more frames to put them all in. Help her out by giving her a few more stuffed in her stocking.

9. Hair Products

Visit your girly girl's salon and pick up some of her favorite hair care products. If you are unsure of what to give her, check out what she has in her bathroom.

Travel sized toiletries are another great option, just make sure you only give her the higher quality brand samples.

10. Shopping Funds

This suggestion is last because it is the most obvious. Every girly girl needs to shop. Drop some cash into her stocking, a gift card or two and she will be thrilled.

Include a gift certificate to the mall or her favorite store. Don't forget the Starbucks gift card so she can take a break from all that walking!
