While no other twins have been as successful as the Olsens in their three sitcom stints, some shows have featured twins in their casts. Among the most popular shows are Everybody Loves Raymond, in which the title character is an uncle to twins. Here is a list of my favorite TV shows featuring twins.
10. Larry and Lorena in The Brothers Garcia: Larry (played by Alvin Alvarez) narrated the Nickelodeon sitcom about a Latin-American family, whose cutest member was his twin sister (played by Vaneza Pitynski).
9. Robert, Steve and Charles Douglas in My Three Sons: These triplets were born to Rob (played by Don Grady), the oldest son of the show's main character Steve Douglas (played by Fred MacMurray).
8. Allison and Kate in Double Trouble: Twins Allison and Kate in this short-lived sitcom about teenagers being raised by a single dad were played by Liz and Jean Sagal, younger sisters of Married with Children's Katey Sagal.
7. Tia Landry and Tamara Campbell in Sister Sister: Tia and Tamera Mowry played these twins with opposite personalities, who were separated at birth and reunited as teenagers.
6.Phil and Lil DeVille in Rugrats: The only way to tell these twin toddlers (voiced by Kath Soucie) apart is the bow in Lil's hair.
5. Zach and Cody Martin in The Suite Life of Zach and Cody: These twins (played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse) live in a luxury hotel where their mom works as a singer.
4. Robin and Rachel Kotter in Welcome Back, Kotter: The Sweathogs taught by Mr. Kotter (played by Gabe Kaplan) had all grown up when his wife (played by Marcia Strassman) gave birth to these twin girls.
3. Zachary and Maxine Smart in Get Smart: The Control agent Maxwell Smart (played by Don Adams) and his partner 99 (played by Barbara Feldon) end up having twins, naming the boy after 99's father and the girl after Max himself.
2. Buffy and Jody Davis in Family Affair: Wealthy architect Bill Davis (played by Brian Keith) adopted his twin nephew and niece, raising them with the help of his butler Mr. French (played by Sebastian Cabot). The twins were played by Johnny Whitaker and Anissa Jones.
1. Patty and Selma Bouvier in The Simpsons: Marge's older sisters (voiced by Julie Kavner) share nearly everything in addition to their appearances. They work at the DMV, smoke, adore McGyver and hate their brother-in-law Homer.
