Top Ten Vampire Movies

1. Love at First Bite (1979). Love at First Bite is the very first vampire movie I ever saw. I was on vacation when I was very young, at a place called Shenendoah Acres Resort in Virginia. I had just ridden a horse for the first time that week as well! In this vampire movie, it's not just about being a vampire, it's also about falling in love. A vampire falls in love with a woman in a magazine, and sets out to make her a vampire like himself, so he can be with her forever.

2. Interview With the Vampire (1994). Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst grace us in this vampire movie. A man decides he doesn't like his life, so he allows himself to be turned into a vampire. But, then he refuses to suck human blood. The vampire who made him one of his own brings a young girl into the equation, forcing her to become a vampire as well, to change the mind of the other.

3. The Lost Boys (1987). This movie is about two brothers who believe that their new town is filled with vampires. Do they really want to know? Corey Haim and Kiefer Sutherland are both in this movie. It's one of my favorite vampire movies, and it's a pretty sexy movie too, as far as vampire movies go.

4. Van Helsing (2004). Van Helsing stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale. I have to admit, I dressed up like Kate Beckinsale back that year for Halloween, and my sexy boyfriend at the time was Van Helsing. It was a great couples Halloween costume. In this vampire movie, Hugh Jackman must stop Count Dracula. There are also werewolves in this movie!

5. Twilight (2008). This vampire movie is about one vampire keeping a young teenage girl safe from some other vampires, and it stars Kiisten Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

6. Twilight, New Moon (2009). This is the second movie of the Twilight Saga, with the same stars. Believe it or not, I actually think I like this vampire movie better than the first original Twilight film.

7. From Dusk Til Dawn (1996). It isn't immediately apparent, but this is a movie about vampires starring George Clooney and Juliette Lewis. This vampire movie is about two criminals who just robbed a bank. While fleeing to Mexico, they run into a group of vampires.

8. Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). This is one of the all time great vampire movies known to all. It's a must-see for all vampire movie lovers. In England, a group are trying to get Dracula away from a certain human he has decided to try and change. A lawyer ends up being kidnapped by Dracula and ends up along for the ride.

9. Blade: Trinity (2004). In the Blade movies, human vampire slayers try to get rid of vampires. In the third Blade movie, one fo the vampires is able to exist in daylight!

10. Fright Night II (1989). This is the second Fright Night, and it is about a female vampire. It's also a horror movie.
