I have a hard time seeing the words "easy" and "weight loss" in the same phrase though I think Ms. Miller has the right idea! Her tips are things most people know but it's a great way to get into the right mindset for better living and weight loss.
2. Overview of Best and Worst Diet Plans - Mary Anne Simpson references Consumer Reports ratings for diet plans. This is extemely informative because Consumer Reports is extemely reputable and reliable. Dr. Michael Dansinger MD, the physician in charge of the study has a quote on page two of this article that is superb. I don't want to spoil it so click and read!
3. Top Weight Loss Tips - Dormer Vance highlights ten wonderful weight loss tips that are informative and realistic. I have had success losing weight following many of these tips. Good points are made regarding eating carbs and drinking water before meals! Warning about extra, hidden calories is also something worth reading about. I don't want to tell you all of the great tips so click the link and read on.
4. Overview of the Weight Watchers Diet - Amy Brantley gives her realistic account of how Weight Watchers was successful for her. (where other diets were not). I know of many people who have had success with Weight Watchers so if you're looking for a "plan", check out Amy's article!

- Christina VanGinkel writes an honest account of how she is slowly taking off the weight she needs to live a healthy life. Sometimes I think the most motivating thing (for a person who wants or needs to loss weight to do) is to read about other's journeys and struggles and successes! This article is well-written and inspiring!
6. Drop that Doughnut: Healthy Eating is Key to Fighting America's Obesity Problem - Chris Porter goes straight to the American Dietetic Association for pointers to help in this epidemic. Statistics are sobering yet the truth is: obesity is truly an epidemic in the United States. For some informative statistics and tips from great sources, read this article.
7. Weight Loss Tips: 10 Easy Steps to Losing Weight - AC Content Producer, Nikki Freeman, spotlights ten steps to losing weight. I love that she provides alternatives to some "favorites" such as frozen whipped cream (instead of ice cream). Her suggestion regarding taking a calcium supplement is superb. I keep telling myself to buy some but I always forget. It's now on the list for my next shopping trip. I recall reading that most women don't have enough calcium in their regular diet so it's worth taking a supplement (note Nikki's reference to a research study).
8. Weight Loss With SparkPeople - Catherine Neal introduces this 2006 "Best of the Web" winner for Business Week here at AC. She gives the pros and cons of SparkPeople (which is a free website for weight loss). My interest is piqued and I'll be checking out SparkPeople as soon as I'm done writing this article!
9. Weight Loss Motivators - Written by Wanda Leibowitz this article is the perfect motivator for anyone losing weight or looking for motivation to actually start losing weight. She only highlights four motivators so I won't spoil the article by telling why I love it so much. Click the link and read it for yourself!
10. Top 10 Tips for Weight Loss in 2006 - Bonnie Creevy's article lists ten sensible tips for weight loss. I like that she gives realistic tips such as "chew gum and eat mints". As much as diet and weight loss plans are sometimes good and successful, it's good to know that people are still losing weight the good old-fashioned way by making lifestyle changes and focusing on healthy living.
Uh -oh... I was almost about to push the "publish" button when I happened upon this article that is too good to leave out. So... this is my PS (number 11 - but don't tell because I'm still keeping my "Top Ten" title).

They are even sorted into categories such as: Cooking Tips, Restaurant Eating, and Exercise. This is one to bookmark and go back to when you've reached a standstill and are looking for a boost in the struggle to lose weight.
