1. First Wives' Club (1996). Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler, give yourselves a hand for starring perfectly in this role that could motivate any woman to get out of a bad relationship or marriage and get what she deserves. In this movie, the scorned ladies actually put together an organization to help women. What a motivational movie!
2. Nine to Five (1980). Before there was Goldie, Diane and Bette, we had three great leading ladies in Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin. Okay, boss, so you want to treat us like we don't deserve anything? We will get you back! This is the ultimate tale of revenge on a male chauvinist boss. This is a motivational movie for ladies to watch anytime a guy tries to take advantage of them in the work field.
3. Legally Blonde (2001). Who says you can't be beautiful and intelligent, ladies? Well, you can, and this inspirational movie will show you how. You can use all those female secrets to gain you a lead in the legal world, or any other realm you place yourself. You just never know what you can achieve until you try it. Who came out ahead in this movie? It certainly wasn't the egotistical guy who dumped his highschool sweetheart just to get a more intellectual girl. It certainly wasn't the male dominated legal world with professors wanting to make sexual deals with female students in return for summer internships.
4. Diary of a Mad Black Woman (2005). Wow, after you watch this movie you will know that women can get really, really mad. On top of this, women can get sweet revenge. Look at this guy, how mean he was to his wife. Then, he ends up getting injured. I love the scene where she shoves his dinner at him, once he is unable to move enough to stop it from just hitting him and the floor due to his injuries. I can't really see why she went back to take care of him, and gave up this other incredible guy, but I guess the movie wanted to at least show that dinner scene where she shoves his food, hm?
5. The Color Purple (1985). This is one of the most motivational movies and unforgettable movies I have ever seen. It's like a woman's guide to life movie. I can't even believe how bad this lady was treated, having her babies stolen from her and being raped to get pregnant with them in the first place. And then, she never knew the joys of sexual relations with a man because her husband just 'does his business' to her. Then, he goes and enjoys the companionship sexually with another woman. This is a great women's coming of age movie, as Celie (Whoopi Goldberg) comes to realize that she is a true woman, deserving of her self respect, her dignity and the children she bore.
6. North Country (2005). Charlize Theron, thank you for portraying this role so well, to show us women how to deal with the way women can be treated in the work place. Women get their revenge through this dramatic movie where the worker finds a way to stop the sexual harassment in the workplace. Any time you have to stand totally alone in what you believe for, this is a truly motivational movie to help you through it.
7. The Accused (1988). Jodie Foster is the victim of a rape by multiple people in a bar. She finds a lawyer, Kelly McGillis, to take her case. But what happens in the trial? Of course, it looks like she asked for it, because she was wearing a mini skirt, flirting, drinking. So the only course of revenge is a criminal action against the ongoers for criminal solicitation of the rape. She gets her revenge, even if it wasn't in the way she expected.
8. Enough (2002). Jennifer Lopez is the woman who has had enough of her tumultuous marriage, but her husband isn't going to let her go that easy. If he can't have her, no one will. She has to learn to actually fight, so she can win a true battle with him to save herself and her life. Talk about taking matters into your own hands!
9. What Lies Beneath (2000). This movie stars Michelle Pfeiffer as the wife who has been lied to by her husband. He has betrayed her by having a relationship with another woman. And then, he ends up killing the woman and disposing of the body! Michelle Pfeiffer is able to find out the truth, as ugly as it may turn out to be. She didn't give up until she found out, even though the truth might have been hard to face. It certainly didn't hurt things that the woman's ghost just may have been giving her a little help along the way.
10. Sleeping With the Enemy (1991). Julia Roberts shows us how to get revenge on a male who mistreats his wife throughout their marriage. He hits her, he controls her, he inhibits her happiness. She saves money, learns to swim, and fakes her death to get away from him. Unfortunately, he finds her. So now what? What happens in the end isn't the best way to get revenge, but it clearly shows that he won't be bothering her anymore and she can move on and live a happy life with a real man.

Great article! You have some great films here. I love Sleeping with the Enemy and First Wives' Club.
Some interesting choices, but I think the most fun and funny revenge movie of them all is She-Devil. If you haven't seen it and you like revenge movies, trust me, you'll just adore it! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098309/
