Top Ten Worst Movies of All Time

Sam Landers
We've all seen them. Movies so bad you can't help but hate the cast and crew involved. Some of these movies are sequels to good films, other are standalone movies. All of them stink. These are, in my opinion, the Top Ten Worst Movies Of All Time.

10. Superman IV: The Quest For Peace (1987).

Easily the worst entry in the Superman movie series, even with Superman Returns in the mix. How is it bad? For starters, it has a villain with less characterization than a Twinkie's wrapper. For another thing, there is one scene where said villain (Nuclear Man) takes a human being into space, and she survives without a spacesuit. Throw in Lex Luthor's insane escape at the beginning, and this is the perfect example of how NOT to make a Superman movie.

9. The Matrix Reloaded (2003) & The Matrix Revolutions (2003).

After an amazing success with the first movie, what other choice was there but to make it the first of a trilogy? Apparently none. It's just too bad that these sequels were so awful. Great special effects. Terrible story. As in really bad. Avoid at all costs, unless you happen to like bad fanfiction.

8. Ocean's Twelve (2004).

Ocean's Eleven was a great movie, and a sequel was inevitable. Unfortunately, it was nowhere near as good as it's predecessor. Instantly forgettable, and completely unworthy of being mentioned alongside Eleven or Thirteen.

7. Godzilla (1998).

Absolute movie garbage. It is unbelievable that Mathew "Ferris Bueller" Broderick starred in this mess of a movie. A waste of celluloid.

6. Across The Universe (2007).

A Psychedelic Trip through the sixties, this movie made no sense. It shows the sixties without the Beatles, but everyone still sings their songs (badly) and events are badly depicted. The love story is badly written, and fails because the characters are two dimensional cutouts of people from the era of flower power.

5. Street Fighter: The Movie (1994).

Jean Claude Van Damme. Enough said.

4. Mortal Kombat II: Annihilation (1997).

The first movie was fantastic, it's only flaw being that it ended on the cliffhanger which this opens with. This movie is about as interesting as watching paint dry. The only good thing about it is that it tied up the cliffhanger of the first movie, and left no loose ends.

3. Batman And Robin (1997).

There can be no denying the awfulness of this movie. No wonder it took eight years for the next Batman movie, and that it was a total reboot. Which is good because Robin ruined the whole thing. Plus Arnold The Governator was terrible as Mister Freeze. The plot (what there was of it) stank worse than a used diaper left in the sun for three days. The worst sequel ever made. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

2. Super Mario Bros. (1993).

Great video games. Lousy movie. An utter mess from start to finish. Don't watch it. Do yourself a favor and just play one of the games. I'd recommend Super Mario 64 for the N64. What's next, Sonic The Hedgehog: The Movie?

1. My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006).

This movie truly deserves to have every copy in existence destroyed. Worst movie ever. A waste of any viewer's time.

So that's the list of the worst movies ever. Watch them at your own risk. There are many others that could have made the list, and I'm sure many will disagree with my choices. However, I highly not watching any of these. The choice is yours; watch them or don't. But if you do, I believe that you won't enjoy the time you spend in front of the T.V.

You missed movies like I Am Curious Yellow, The English Patient (good for curing insomnia), the 1973 "Themroc" has to be one of the worst I have ever seen. How about Last Tango In Paris to add to the collection.

I agree with #1 and #10. I always enjoyed watching the Superman films. The second one was my favourite. But by the time number four came along, it wasn't as good.

I agree with many of your choices. However, I'm a big lover of B movies so there are a couple here that I actually like. Wht can I say I'm a HUGE movie buff.
