If sitting down at a table full of your most beloved relatives gabbing over last month's news doesn't get your rate pumping out of enjoyment, then you might be reasoning with the thought of spending Thanksgiving somewhere that you won't hear "pass the cranberry sauce." Traveling during the holidays could be just the cure to the immense amount of unwanted stress you've been carrying around for more than a few months.

There are quite a few great destinations to choose from where you might find yourself among only the locals, rather than a part of 5 million tourists. The ingenious idea of getting away to vacation spot, when no one else is might just be the best plan yet!

Here are some top locations to consider for your great "get-a-way!"

Las Vegas - If you've been to Las Vegas before, you're probably aware of the lines of people covering the streets at all times of the day, no matter when you go. Going during a slow time, would assure you first in line wherever you want to go. You'll have a free rein at all slot machines, and will find yourself grabbing the first seat at a blackjack table you see. Staying at any of the top resorts in Las Vegas, such as the Venetian, the Wynn, Bellagio, Paris, the Mirage or the MGM might give you some great deals for a time where most people aren't traveling to touristy spots. Make sure you go up to the top of the Eiffel tower for a remarkable dinner overlooking the Bellagio fountains. You probably won't' even have to make a reservation 4 days in advance!

Napa Valley - Wine country is the absolute solution to all needs and desires of a getaway. Locals will still be in the area during the holidays, but most likely no tourists. This means you can have the ability to visit all the famous winery's and be first in line for sampling. Enjoy the views, ambiance, food and drinks and come back as a new person. If you're looking for the true Napa experience, lodging at the Old World Inn Bed & Breakfast is an unbeatable time. You can also take advantage of Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs Resorts, where you'll not only find 5 star accommodations, but amazing spa services as well. Make sure you also don't want to miss Flora Springs Winery, which is one of Napa Valley's most talked about wineries.

Hawaii - The black sands of Hawaii could be just the cure to your travel needs. Instead of stressing over where you're going to sit at the 20 person long thanksgiving table, figure out which lounge chair has the better views. Hawaii has some of the most beautiful views in the world. If you're in the mood for some adventure, make sure you visit Maui and take a bike ride down Mt. Haleakala's volcano at dusk, or do some cliff diving off of one of the seven sisters on the Road to Hana. Any hotels in the Kanapali or Wailea areas of Maui are sure to give you the best Hawaii can offer.

Orlando - If you've ever visited the Disney area in Orlando, and have come to the realization that you spent most of your trip waiting in lines to get onto a ride, well traveling during this quiet time would be the answer to all of your problems. Being one of only a few hundred tourists, rather than thousands will almost guarantee you your own "VIP" pass to skip the lines (without having to purchase a pass because of the lack of people). Staying in any of the Disney hotels will be a great help when it comes to driving. The trams offered at the Disney location hotels will take you everywhere you want to go with in the Disney district. Make sure you visit the Polynesian resort one night for the one of a kind Disney Luau, followed by the amazing light show and fireworks.
