During the summertime, a trip to Emerald Pointe is high on many families list of places to go. The waterpark is located in Greensboro, NC off of Highway 85 and Holden Road. The best thing about the waterpark is that there is something for every member of your family. From babies and toddlers just learning about the water to experienced thrill seekers, everyone is sure to have a blast. The smallest members of the family will have fun splashing around in the children's area. In the children's area, kids are able to enjoy waterslides, a wave pool and other fun attractions in smaller versions. A playground is also available for non-water enjoyment. Want to go a step higher? There are slides, pools and a lazy river for the swimmer that wants to relax or take it easy for the day. Thrill seekers can find pleasure on many waterlides, a water coaster and a large wave pool. Food is available in the park and you are welcome to bring your own as well.

No family will want to miss the Bicentennial Gardens, Bog Garden and the Arboretum. The blooming flowers are absolutely breathtaking in the springtime, but are also beautiful throughout the year. During the fall, the leaves are changing and the entire area is a gorgeous scene. Picnic shelters are available throughout for visitors to enjoy lunch, dinner or snack in the garden. Nature trails are woven throughout the gardens. There is no telling what kinds of animals and critters you will run into while walking through the Bog Garden. Don't forget your camera-the backgrounds of your pictures will be a lasting memory!
