Top Three Bars in the Dalles, Oregon Area

If you are new to the area or are here on business or on vacation and are looking for a great fun place to hang out or relax and have a drink then I have composed three of my top favorites for your enjoyment.

The first bar that serves everything under the sun, is The Wind Seeker. This place is so fantastic and has amazing gardens of flowers and plants to view. This place is opened Monday through Friday 11am till 9 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays 9am till 9pm.

The Wind Seeker has a variety of great items on their menu from salads, to burgers and pasta dishes. My favorite is their stuffed Halibut dish, this dish is fantastic! They are located at 1535 Bargeway Road, The Dalles, Or. 97058 and you can phone them if you wish at 541-298-7171.

This place is great for dinner or lunch and on Sundays a great buffet. You can bring your whole family here if you wish because it has a good atmosphere. I enjoy relaxing with a cold beer and enjoying the scenery.

The second favorite bar for me in The Dalles, Oregon area is The Vault Bistro and Lounge. This place has it all. Live music, dancing, big screen televisions with football games etc.

The Vault is opened seven days a week and they are located at 209 East 2nd Street, The Dalles, Or. 97058. You can contact them at 541-296-3070. The Vault has a good atmosphere, mixing of ages from early twenties to late fifties.

The Vault bistro and Lounge also offers some pretty dang good food as well for your enjoyment. They have some great tasting pizza and sandwiches here as well as burgers.

I enjoy coming to the Vault Bistro and Lounge to meet locals and hear the amazing gifted talent they offer here. The location is great for those traveling for there are many hotels close by within walking distance.

The last bar that serves great beer is The Baldwin Saloon. The Baldwin Saloon is located at 205 Court Street, The Dalles, Or. 97058. Their phone number is 541-296-5666. Their hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 11am till 9pm. Friday and Saturdays 11am till 10 pm. They are closed on Sundays.

The Baldwin Saloon has great tasting food as well as great drinks. You must try their Halibut and Chips or their Captain's Platter. This platter has just about everything on it. Some of the best seafood in The Dalles or surrounding areas in my opinion.

The Baldwin Saloon has some amazing history within the building as well as pictures. The hardwood floors give it that old time Western feel. So if your looking for a great time and fun for all stop on by next time you are in the area.
