If you are looking for the best bar to go on a Friday or Saturday night, look no further. Here you will find a review of my top three bars located in Salem, Ohio. Each bar has it's own attractions and specialties. You will enjoy yourself in these highly popular bars where patrons go to have fun with their friends, spouses, and old school mates.

Spanky'sWinery and Bar

Spanky's is located off of State Street on Penn Ave. It is in the old court building by Timberlanes. Spanky's offers a bar, food, and a winery all in one place. My friends talk about Spanky's often, describing the exciting Friday and Saturday night bar atmosphere. They love the music and can't wait to get on the dance floor. Since the bar and winery opened in the fall of 2009, it has become a great location for party goers in the area. Spanky's have excellent service and are dedicated to giving their customers entertainment of all sorts.

Spanky's Winery and Bar is open Monday through Saturday at 4pm. They close at midnight through the week, Thursdays's at 1am and Friday and Saturday at 2:30am.

Enter the game room, where you can play against your friends at the pool tables, foosball, darts, or video games. You can also come here to make your own wines in the winery. Order a meal named after several bars that have closed down in the area over the years.

The Western Reserve class of 2000 will be holding their reunion here on May 29th to celebrate their graduating class. They couldn't have picked a better spot than at Spanky's. Chad Groeger from Knickleback has even been here with his girlfriend, whose from the area.

Ricky's Irish Pub

Ricky's Irish Pub has been on State Street in downtown Salem Ohio since 2002. It is a great attraction for bar goers in the area. People of all ages visit here and enjoy the classy atmosphere. Every time I drive by on a Friday or Saturday night, the place is packed and there are people crossing the road from the parking lot to walk into the pub continuously.

Not only can you enjoy a great weekend out on the town at Ricky's Irish Pub, but you can also enjoy excellent food. They have excellent fish and chips, lobster brisque soup, sweet potato fries and crab cakes. The wait staff is friendly and are very efficient. You can't go wrong by going to Ricky's Irish Pub. You will want to take your family and friends here, day or night.

Wing Warehouse

The Wing Warehouse is located at 441 South Ellsworth in Salem, Ohio. You can order great specials during the week, like on Mondays and Tuesdays you can get 40 cent wings and a $2.25 long island ice tea and Sundays you can enjoy a 22oz draft for a $1 off. Between the hours of 3pm and 6pm, you can also get $1 off drafts while you enjoy a late lunch.

The Wing Warehouse offers customers 44 different flavors of wings like sweet, mild, medium, and hot , and 29 different draft beers. Order six wings for $5.79 or fifty for $38.59. If you like side dishes instead of a full meal, check out their start-up menu, where you can order salads, soups, fried foods, and dips and nachos. If you want a healthier meal, try their healthy menu. There are several different styles of salads, like a ribeye steak salad, or a wrap with chicken and chili. Try ordering from the sandwich menu and find yourself indulged in an excellent list. Try a chicken sandwich or a cheese steak hoagie. They even have four different kinds of hot dogs. They have 1/2 lb house burgers and gyros for lunch. All these for about $8 or less.

While you enjoy their food and drafts, you can play some darts or play a game of pool.

The Wing Warehouse and Scorchers have now joined together to make one excellent franchise. They have several locations located in Akron, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Alliance, Louisville, East Lake, and Northfield.
