Christmas is just around the corner. Time really flies as you get older. The spirit of a child enjoying the magical spark of Christmas never fades away. Gift giving is a joyful tradition. There is a "hidden" rule in gift giving. Are you seeking the "perfect" gift to give? The first rule in purchasing gifts is there are no "perfect" gifts. Once you succeed in surpassing the rule, you are one step closer to gift giving. There are top three gifts not to give, for their too impersonal. Impersonal gifts are not the most appropriate choice. What are those three top gifts?

Gift cards are the most sought out gift for any occasion. Why? It is too practical and inexpensive. With gift cards you as the giver chooses the amount on the card. The main reason they are chosen is because it is the last minute decision, or because you as the giver do not know what to give. Gift cards have become available at any business. You wouldn't believe the options available with gift cards.

Christmas cards have become a classic tradition among society. A Christmas card is often given in replace of actual gifts. Don't fall into the "traditional" sense of gift giving. Christmas cards are great for showing love and appreciation but shouldn't be given as the "actual" gift. Cards given as gifts try to personalize them more, given them more of a unique look.

Money is always nice to receive. But money isn't everything. It isn't always the right gift to give. It is practical and impersonal. Don't get me wrong, money is great to have and to give or to receive. Many want money for any holiday. If you plan on giving money as a gift, try giving something else besides the money.

Those gifts are the top three impersonal gifts to give. They are great to give, but are so impersonal. As a gift giver, choose the right gift to give, to the person. Don't always settle for the cheap and impersonal gifts. Take time out to seek out the perfect gift. These "hidden" rules apply to all occasions when gifts are involved.
Gift giving is a privilege that many take for granted. Don't let yourself fall into the "traditional" sense of gift giving. Have fun with choosing the right give for that special someone. Happy hunting, the right give is out there.
