Looking for the best place to have a coffee or tea and hang out in Missoula? Missoula has some of the most awesome places to kick back, relax and sip your favorite drink. The problem is trying to narrow the field down, since arguably Missoula has some of the very best coffee shops anywhere in the country. Still, I've managed to narrow it down to three with some honorable mentions.

First Place: Liquid Planet

Liquid Planet is Missoula's premier drink shop specializing in coffee, teas and assorted organic and all natural drinks. Although it has begun to franchise, Liquid Planet has its roots in Missoula, started by a University professor. They offer a wide variety of organic and fair-trade coffees, teas, cocoas and various cool drink as well as snacks and sandwiches. You can buy wine, beer, tea and coffee as well as items to brew and serve your favorite beverages. The downtown location has free WIFI. I've actually been to all three, but I really didn't count them as true coffee shops, since two are bakeries and one is a natural food store. I was try to stay with the theme.

But they all are very good!

Have you had Coffee from Le Petit, Bernices, or the Good Food Store?
