Top Three NFC Fantasy Quarterbacks

Must-Have Players

David Kenny
Donovan McNabb will be a great fantasy player to have on your team for the 2009 NFL season. The Philadelphia Eagles have good young talent at the wide receiver position. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin will emerge as dominating receivers in the league. Plus Brian Westbrook is the best runningback in the NFL at receiving the ball out of the back field. Donovan McNabb is great at buying time with his feet then throwing a perfect check down pass to Brian Westbrook. Donovan McNabb is a tough athlete that has no problem throwing 40 passes a game and playing all season strong. Watch out this season for when Donovan McNabb has great games against Oakland, Denver, and New Orleans because of their lack of cornerback and safety talent.

Drew Brees will have another great season for the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees is one of the top passing quarterbacks in the NFL. Drew Brees was the leader of the NFL in passing yards. Brees will do the same in the 2009 NFL season. The New Orleans Saints have a difficult schedule this year. The Saints play the NFC east against Dallas, Philadelphia, and New York Giants. They will also play the AFC south against New England, Miami, and New York Jets. Last year the Saints got behind early in most games. They then were forced to pass the ball to catch up. Drew Brees was able to pass the ball to help pad his stats. Against two hard divisions Drew Brees will have the same if not better year in passing yards. Look out for Drew Brees to start off the year with a big game against last years worst team the 0-16 Detroit Lions.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is a great pick for any fantasy team. Warner took the Arizona Cardinals to the Superbowl in the 2008 NFL season. Arizona was the third team to go from the wild card game to the Superbowl. Kurt Warner lead the NFL is passing yards for most of the season and still finished second in the NFL under Drew Brees. Kurt Warner also has a great record against his own division the NFC west, who he plays twice a year. Warner has the best wide receivers in the NFL. Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston all had over 1000 yard seasons. All three players will get better this season with one more year together. Kurt Warner should have great games against Detroit and Houston. As well as both games he plays against St. Louis and Seattle because they do not have good enough corners to stop Kurt Warner and his amazing wide receivers.
