Top Three Reasons I Love April Fool's Day

And It's All About Love After All. Right?

Donald Pennington
Many folks today just might still be immature enough to still enjoy the Holiday Season that I love the best.

I look forward to this time of year more than any other. It's not like I'm against folks enjoying whatever they like, but
I'm preferential to this time of year for a few good reasons:

#3) The weather's easier from this point on.

The temperament of random folks improves as well with the overall increase in sunshine.

And since I work mostly outside, these two factors usually affect a large percentage of my overall productivity.

It's just good when it's easier to make money. April Fool's Day (April 1) always marks, to me, the real beginning of spring.

In fact, the very origin of the 'holiday' is the fact that those who held on to old Hebrew laws (keeping the new year on the
first day of...Abib I think they called it)were called fools by the "catholic mafia" during the "Convert or die!" church marketing
campaigns of the dark ages.

#2) More fresh air means more good oxygen and less viruses. That means less disease, and more overall energy.

This time of year brings a lot more of those types of nights when you actually get restful sleep.

The more overall energy you enjoy, the more vital your mind remains, and then you get the better ideas.

#1) Because I signed my divorce papers today (WOW!! How's that for a segue?).

And what the hell...If she, or anyone for that matter, doesn't love me just as I am, with all my flaws ans foibles,
then I'd rather not be a friend anyway.

All I'd do is disappoint them anyway.

Thank gawd that being a content producer is this flexible!

I need some time.

Great job with this. I usually don't think too much about this day, unfortunately it was an awful day for me but I hope your doing well with all the paper signing and all. I guess that could be a good or bad thing.
