Top Three Romantic Restaurants in the Woodlands, Texas

Finding a restaurant in the Woodlands, Texas is not hard. From Market Square to the Waterway, you can throw a rock and hit one. But finding that perfect restaurant for a romantic night out is not so easy. I have found three romantic restaurants in the Woodlands that top the rest. Américas, Perry's Steakhouse and Grille, and The Olive Oil Greek Restaurant.

Américas, from the Cordua Restaurant family, is a great place for a romantic night out. Featuring Latin American faire with a European twist, Américas is classy and casual at the same time. The entrées are exquisite and the desserts divine. I would suggest the Delirio for dessert. The architecture is eclectic, yet elegant. They also have an incredible romantic patio overlooking the Woodland's Waterway and a full bar. For something out of the ordinary, this is the place. Second on my list is Perry's Steakhouse and Grille. Located on Woodlands Parkway, Perry's is far from a typical steakhouse. Perry's has a pianist Thursday and Friday nights to add to the ambiance. The wine bar is heavenly. I would suggest starting off with the Cherry Pepper Calamari, but save room, the Bison New York Steaks are fabulously large. The atmosphere is contemporary, yet still classy. This is a wonderful place for a romantic night out. And the service cannot be beat. Be sure to make reservations.

Last, but certainly not least is the Olive Oil Restaurant on Sawdust Rd. While the Olive Oil is a small mom and pop type place, the atmosphere is great. The food, even better. Of all three restaurants, the Olive Oil has the best prices. They are very reasonably priced for date night. Evenings there are quiet, just don't go on Saturday night unless you are ready to party. Saturday is Greek Night and it gets a little crazy. The Olive Oil has an extensive wine list including lots of Greek wines as well as French, American, etc. And if you can, ask for Greg. He is the best server in the house. For food, I recommend the Greek Sampler if you are not familiar with Greek food. It gives you a bit of everything. Don't forget your Baklava for dessert.
