Cellulite is visible in women of all shapes and sizes. It is common to be active and healthy, but have a few trouble areas. There are alternatives to wearing pants or hot foundation garments to cover skin imperfections. Here are some ways to have beautiful legs this summer.

Make a decision to improve leg appearance. Many people mistakenly feel their legs should look like the models in magazines or on television. Realize that supermodels pictures are heavily edited and photographed in professional lighting to appear flawless. Women's bodies naturally go through numerous changes due to hormones and child birth. Having flawless legs may simply not be possible, but it is possible to greatly improve the appearance of the skin.

Misses Clothing

Look in a full length mirror and see where the cellulite starts. Select skirts, knee length shorts, and dresses that hit directly at the knee or longer. A line skirts flatter every body type and eliminates the need to wear supportive garments to smooth out any areas of the skin that are not smooth. Many women unknowingly bring attention to their cellulite by wearing clothing that is too tight or is unflattering.

Clothing in the misses department is made to fit a real women's body. The clothing in the juniors department may be cut for a young woman that has not fully matured. Misses clothing has more structure and modesty than the juniors department. Simply sticking to the right length of clothing will visibly conceal the cellulite.

Dry Skin Brush

Start making small changes each day to improve the appearance of the cellulite over time. Purchase a natural bristle dry skin brush for daily use. Brush the body prior to every shower or bath. Start with dry skin at the soles of the feet, and work up towards the heart. Concentrate on the areas that have cellulite. Over time the appearance of the cellulite will improve when the skin is exercised each day with the dry skin brush.

Increase the amount of deep leafy greens that are consumed. This could be through daily supplements like alfalfa or barley green. Drink several glasses of pure water during waking hours to ensue the supplements are absorbed properly.

It may take a few weeks to see visible improvements on cellulite prone areas of the body. Purchase clothing that conceals any trouble areas. Wear sheer textured pantyhose or thigh highs to hide cellulite when wearing shorter length dresses. Use green supplements as a cost effective alternative to trying to eat large amounts of dark leafy greens each day. Pamper the skin with daily skin brushing treatments to visibly improve skin texture and have beautiful legs.
