2.Spinach: It contains very low calories and is a rich source of fiber besides being a powerhouse of essential nutrients.
3.Wild Salmon/ Sardines:Both are loaded with Omega 3 fatty acids which improves insulin sensitivity, helps build muscles and decrease belly fat. The more muscles you have, more the calories you burn. Both are also rich sources of proteins.
4.Lentils: They are high in protein and soluble fiber- two nutrients that stabilize blood sugar levels and prevent insulin spikes that cause our body to create excess fat, especially in the abdominal region.
5.Oats: They are very good for weight loss, managing diabetes, lowering bad cholesterol and reducing toxin load on the Liver.
6.Apples: Apples are high in fiber, which makes them filling, thus controlling our appetite.
7.Pomegranates: They are low in calories and high in fiber. They are also loaded with antioxidants and folate.
8.Avocado: It contains the heart healthy monounsaturated fat, which increases satiety, thus controlling your appetite.
9.Yoghurt: With its combination of carbohydrates, protein and healthy fat it can stave off hunger by keeping blood sugar levels steady.
10.Chillies : They are known for boosting up the metabolism. Chillies contain a compound called capsaicin, which has thermogenic effect, which means the body continues to burn extra calories for twenty minutes after you eat the chillies.
11. Celery: Drinking celery juice frequently throughout the day helps in curbing your cravings for sweets and rich food. The diuretic effect of celery juice helps to regulate body fluid and stimulate urine production, helping to rid the body of excess fluid.
12. Papaya: This fruit is low in calories, high in vitamins and minerals, and a good source of fiber. The papain present in papaya increases metabolism, digests fats, and assimilates carbohydrates in your body.
