Top Valentines Day Songs

Katie D
Songs that sound romantic aren't always appropriate for intimate moments. Sure, songs such as Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" and Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" sound beautiful and romantic, but trying to entice a lover by playing a song about a breakup isn't exactly a great idea. For Valentine's Day, choose songs that have a romantic meaning and sound beautiful.

Can't Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley)
What's more romantic than saying you can't help falling in love with someone?

Tonight, I Celebrate My Love (Peabro Bryson and Roberta Flack)
A beautiful song about a celebration of love between two people. Exactly what Valentine's Day is supposed to be about.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Frankie Vallie)
If you want your lover to know how beautiful you think they are, this song is a perfect fit. And everyone knows that compliments are the best way to set the mood.

It Takes Two (Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston)
Not a slow song, but a great one about how love takes two people to work.

When a Man Loves a Woman (Michael Bolton)
Great way to make a woman feel loved.

You Take My Breath Away (Rex Smith)
Another great song about the mesmerizing beauty of a woman.

All My Life (K-Ci and JoJo)
Sweet, touching song about waiting for 'the one'.

Endless Love (Diana Ross and Lionel Richie)
Loving someone forever - the epitome of romanticism.

Just the Way You Are (Billy Joel)

Billy Joel describes it perfectly - loving someone for who they are, not for the extras.

When I Fall In Love (Nat King Cole)
Nat King Cole's voice, combined with the lyrics about falling in love, make an extremely romantic song.

I just wrote a song for Valentine's Day (titled "Valentine's Day" no less), which I hope you'll enjoy. It's already on amazon.com and should be on iTunes and all other digital retailers any day now.
