Marriage is a sacred bond between two people. Life often gets in the way. Nothing comes easy in life. Love and companionship is found within a marriage. Trust and respect is earned not given lightly.

There are so many ways to ruin a marriage. Here are some top reasons a relationship between a husband and wife can come to abrupt end. If you want to live happily ever after with your significant other, avoid these at all costs.

Lying. Lying is a bad idea in any relationship, marriage or not. It may seem harmless at the time it was done, however the aftermath can be horrendous. Those who lie tend to believe their lies and need to keep up the charades with more lies. Lying only gets you into trouble, believe me it does. I know from experience.

Cheating. Emotional attachment to someone other than your loved one, is cheating. Physical contact with someone else is wrong. Cheating is a leading cause of divorce. This betrayal destroys the trust and love in any relationship.

Lack of sex. This could ruin a relationship. Lack of sex could mean a lot of different reasons. For instance the other person may not be interested in any longer. Couples should try spicing up the relationship with date nights and etc. Sex isn't everything in a relationship.

Finances. This is a major issue among married couples. Money is usually one of the number one reason marriages split up. Money makes the world go around. However it can not by you happiness. Money doesn't grow on trees, avoid fighting about it, if you can.

Too much work. Married couples needs breathing room and time to bloom. But a spouse working too many hours can put a strain on a relationship. Spending too much time at work can lead to many marital problems.

The break up of every marriage fails for numerous reasons. It can be a combination of all these things together. If you avoid making any of these mistakes,your marriage has a fighting chance to last. Finances are always going to be an issue in a relationship, you just have to work hard to not let it get between you and your significant other. There are so many reasons why a marriage breaks up, but don't let the stupid unimportant things get in the way.
