How Weight Training Supplements Can Be Beneficial for Fitness

When it comes to supplements, it's important to know what matches up with your workout plan. I've been using supplements for years, from fat burning to muscle mass. The following are some that I've used over the years for different reasons. You might want to put on muscle, burn fat, need energy to last longer on the track~ whatever the reason, it's important to find the supplement that matches your goals and your body.

1. Creatine supplements

When I was using Creatine back in the 90s, the one thing I noticed was a great deal of muscle mass (which I wanted). The next thing I noticed with it was that I had a lot more energy, so be sure to keep your workout on when you take it. You'll feel like you're stoked out on something at first, but eventually you'll get used to it and it'll build you up. It increases the lean muscle mass, and brings out the energy reserves as well. In a nutshell you'll maintain more water with it, which is a contributing factor to building muscle mass. Most of these products don't run past $30.00, so you should be able to find an affordable one.

2. HydroxyCut

This product is probably one of the best out there. Just remember that there's 200mg of caffeine involved which will have you up and going in no time. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. It recommends to start off slow then work your way to 3 pills a day-One before breakfast, one before lunch, and before dinner. And drink lots of water! (15 minutes before each meal)

This supplement is also effective if you're an active runner. I ran about 1.5 miles a day and really slimmed up from this one.(Avg. Price between $30-$40 dollars)

3. Green Tea

Green Tea will help you win the battle against fat. There are many articles about green tea that suggest to drink about eight glasses a day or take the supplement. You can find a variety of green tea supplements in major retail outlets.(Between $8-$30.00)

4. Multivitamins

Now if you're like me, you're probably slow in the veggies but that's ok, that's where Multivitamins can come in. This pill gives you 100 percent of your daily requirements for lots of different vitamins and minerals. Be sure to read the labels to see what's in the pill so that you're not getting over the limit on some vitamins and low on others. (Usually runs between $12-$22.00)

5. Stacker 2

By far, this was a very effective supplement when it come to toning down the fat. I would suggest that for those who use it consult a doctor before taking it to make sure you're able to. Again this is one of those supplements that are big on cranking up the metabolism, making you feel like you can run 20 miles (Oh yeah, lots of Caffeine as well involved). It's a strong little pill but without proper diet and water you can hurt yourself from it. (Usually runs between $5-$22.00, pending on what size bottle you buy)
