The Canucks were dominating the Stanley Cup finals -- at least in the win column -- when they arrived in Boston. But after two losses by a combined 12-1 score, including a 4-0 defeat in Game 4, the Canucks and Roberto Luongo have a lot of new doubters.

For the second time in three games, the Heat blew a chance to take a killer two-game lead over the Mavericks. What's worse, a fever-ridden Dirk Nowitzki didn't need to carry the load, as the rest of the Mavs helped with their latest comeback.

The Mavericks are still two losses from elimination in the NBA Finals. Yet everyone knows that elimination would be guaranteed with a Game 4 loss to the Heat, and might even be likely if the Heat just gain a split in the next two games.

For 44 minutes, Dallas seemed destined to go back home in a 2-2 tie with Oklahoma City. But for the next nine minutes, the Mavericks caused a thunder of its own, as Dirk Nowitzki led a 28-6 run through the end of regulation and overtime.

The Rangers put suspense back into the World Series, by halving their deficit against the Giants. But to really have a chance, the Rangers must tie things up in Game 4, with their weakest starter on the mound.

For once, the Giants and Phillies' bats got going, since they didn't have to face each other's aces. Yet the Phillies' bullpen broke first, and Roy Oswalt could not bail them out in the ninth, as the Giants kept NLCS control with a 6-5 walk off.

The Giants-Phillies NLCS Game 4 ended with an exciting ninth inning rally for San Francisco.

The Texas Rangers defeated the New York Yankees 10-3 in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series to take a 3-1 series lead.

The Yankees had to be perfect for the rest of the ALCS to still have a chance against the Rangers. But a late inning collapse turned a close game into another Texas slaughter, as the 10-3 win leaves a Rangers pennant nearly inevitable.

The Boston Celtics bench came alive in Game 4, controlling the fourth quarter of the game to help the Celtics win.

The Los Angeles Lakers were out-coached and out-played by the Phoenix Suns in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Yankees led most of the night, but the Phillies roared back to tie Game 4 and looked ready to take control. But a series of bad breaks and big at-bats gave the Yankees three runs in the ninth, and a 7-4 win that puts them on the brink of a title.

The Phillies are against the wall for the first time all postseason, and are heavy underdogs against C.C. Sabathia tonight. But if Joe Blanton comes through, and the Phillies offense wakes up, the World Series will be down to a best-of-three.

The ALCS got some suspense back when the Angels finally pulled out a win over the Yankees in Game 3. But the Yankees can put their foots back on the Angels' throat with a Game 4 win- or the Angels can draw even and make it a series again.

Last year, the Phillies slugged their way to an impossible Game 4 NLCS comeback against the Dodgers to all but close their season. This year, it happened with one out left, as Jimmy Rollins' two out, two run double destroyed the Dodgers this time.

The Lakers looked out of Game 4 by halftime, and looked out of it with 11 seconds left. But some Magic misfires and big shots by Trevor Ariza and Derek Fisher brought the Lakers back, as they took command of the NBA Finals with another overtime win.

In Game 4 against the Cavaliers, the Magic once again buried three after three, once again had fourth quarter heroics, and once again weren't destroyed by LeBron James. The Cavaliers are now declared dead after losing in overtime and going down 3-1.

The Lakers thought they could put a stranglehold on the Western Conference Finals after a Game 3 comeback over the Nuggets. But in Game 4, the Nuggets didn't give them any hopes for a comeback, as a blowout Game 4 win makes the series a best-of-three.
