Our Father

Our Lord Jesus Christ, the perfect and spotless Lamb of God, was the complete and perfect sacrifice. There is no need for anymore stripes, no need for another sacrifice. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, “It is finished.”

As we worship our Father, Jehovah-jireh, we acknowledge and express face-to-face our appreciation and love for who He is, our adoration for His ability to do and be so much to us and for how He lovingly provides for us, His beloved children.

When we are living in and according to the law of the Spirit of life we are the image and likeness of our Father, who is the purest love; after all, we are now His sons and daughters, and we now have His spiritual DNA.

Our Father is forever pleased when His children come to Him and confess, “Father, I am falling a bit short of your love. I really need to spend some time with You and get filled up with Your perfect agape love.”

Making holy the name of God is about relationship; the relationship of love, honor and respect with our Father.

Jehovah-jireh is the Self-Existent, Eternal God who sees and provides. Our loving Father not only sees and provides, but He provides abundantly.

Even though Almighty God is our Father and He loves when His children come to Him in close, intimate conversation, we must remember, our Father, and every name of His is holy. We must hold the utmost respect in our hearts and attitudes towards our Father.

Be blessed, my precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Our heavenly Father loves you (us) with such an intensely white hot, vigorously passionate, all-encompassing love that nothing can stand between our Father’s love and you (us), ever.

When we decide to spend time with our Father in heaven, let us remember how much He has done for us: how he has loved us, provided for us and cared for us. Let us also express our appreciation, admiration and praise for such a loving and exalted Father.
