Lost Season 6

The last "Lost" week ever began with an auction over the weekend, and continues with the release of the Season 6 DVD. With the complete series collection also out, fans can rewatch the end and more all week before the Emmy Awards.

After the arguments, confusion and disappointment of last week's Lost, the show calmed worried fans down by getting back to the regulars, giving Ben a starring role again, ending the candidate search, and setting up a massive sideways awakening.

The Lost fandom got a workout arguing over the good, bad and cryptic of "Across The Sea." But now they need to reassured that the finale won't be so troubling, and it appears the setup episode tonight may do just that.

Lost's long-awaited origin story for Jacob and the Man in Black had a lot to cover, and a lot it needed to answer. It may have been too tall a task, as old questions were brushed aside, and even more new ones kept being raised as well.

Lost is following up the tear-jerking deaths in "The Candidate" by giving all the surviving regulars a break. Instead, Jacob and the Man in Black now finally have time to explain their bitter history, along with the origin of the whole series.

"The Candidate" was the first of the final Lost hours, and if it set the tone for what is to come, few fans - and characters - may make it through unscathed. Action and tragedy worked hand in hand as the Man in Black finally set his trap.

The final month of Lost begins with what could be the biggest, most bloody episode of the year. The Jack-Locke connection intensifies in both universes, while the other survivors in island time face danger from the monster and Widmore.

For the first time since mid-January, Lost fans won't gather to watch a new episode on Tuesday night. Tonight marks the final break before the last five hours air, as fans prepare for the end and try to avoid new spoilers for it.

Tonight's Lost is the last until the final episodes in May. With multiple Jack-Locke reunions on tap, and with both universes coming together, hopes are high for "The Last Recruit" although it could be nothing more than a setup show.

Although every Lost fan loves Hurley, the real love of his life died years ago. But "Everybody Loves Hugo" gave him another chance with Libby, as both worlds continued to collide thanks to love - yet there were even more explosions on the island.

'Lost' Season 6 Episode 12 'Everybody Loves Hugo' picks up the story of Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes in both the Island Blows Up Universe and the Island Remains Universe. Hugo's life in each universe could not be more different.

After tonight's Lost episode, the final season will be 2/3rds over, with the final act ready to start next week. Hurley brings us closer to the end with new instructions from dead friends, while an enlightened Desmond also begins his task.

Very soon, Lost will near an end - and whether it is a Happily Ever After kind of end is uncertain. But if it doesn't, it won't be without a fight from Desmond, as he literally went to sideways time and made some game-changing discoveries.

After nearly 10 weeks and over a season, Desmond is finally the center of the Lost universe again, as Charles Widmore prepares him for his true island destiny. But will it be a Happily Ever After for him and Lost fans, or will be a letdown?

After the greatness of Ab Aeterno, Lost fans braced themselves for disappointment with the Sun/Jin centric "The Package" especially since they are farther away from their island reunion. But important pieces and packages were revealed nonetheless.

'Lost' Season 6 Episode 10 'The Package' resumes the series' use of parallel time tracks, this time featuring Jin and Sun, the Korean couple who has been caught up in the South Korean mafia; Sun's father is a high ranking chieftain in the Korean mob.

Last week's Richard-centric episode became an instant Lost classic for the fandom. Expectations are lower for the follow up, with Sun and Jin finally getting starring roles, as the monster turns his manipulations towards the separated candidates.

The story of Richard Alpert carried many hopes and expectations for Lost fans. It appears they were all met, after the show spent the full hour and more detailing what brought Richard to the island, and how he fit into the Jacob-Man in Black battle.

'Lost' Season 6 Episode 9 'Ap Aeterno' abandons, at least for now, the device of following a 'Lost' character through the two parallel time tracks. The back story of the immortal and disillusioned Richard Alpert is revealed.

Tonight, Lost fans expect no less than one of the greatest episodes ever made. Hopes are that high because the story of Richard Alpert - which includes massive clues about Jacob, the Man in Black, and the island - will finally be told.

After last week's Ben epic, and considering what next week's epic will be, any Lost episode would seem quite minor in between. Sawyer had the hard task of changing that, but after some early success, all he did was put some more pieces in place.

'Lost' Season 6 Episode 8 'Recon' focuses the twin time track experiences on James 'Sawyer' Ford, the amoral con artist with the sordid and sorrowful past who seems to have thrown his lot in with the Locke Monster but maybe not.

It's a strange Lost world when Ben Linus looks closer to redemption than Sawyer right now. The last time Sawyer appeared, he looked set to serve evil again thanks to the fake Locke. But tonight, he goes on a potentially revealing Recon mission.

Ben Linus is no longer the all powerful evil villain of Lost, and as such, hasn't done much this season. Yet "Dr. Linus" put Ben on the road towards something better, as he came to the crossroads and towards second chances in both universes.

Much of the final Lost season has been divisive thus far. But fans may all be united tonight, as Ben Linus finally returns to the spotlight. Ben-centric episodes are among the best of all time, but will the weakened Ben provide one more big show?

Lost Season 6, episode 6, brought answers to some questions but was it enough to justify ABC's promo for the episode?

Lost's divisive Temple storyline came to a climax, thanks to Sayid's latest choice between good and evil, in the face of the smoke monster's attack. A similar choice was made in his sideways reality, where things were even more complicated with Nadia.

After last week's big download of answers and clues, Lost provided a couple more of them as Jacob sent Jack and Hurley to a special lighthouse. But Jack had an even bigger task in the sideways reality- repairing a strained relationship with his son.

'Lost' Season 6 Episode 5 'Lighthouse' continues with the device of parallel time tracks, this time focusing on Dr. Jack Shepherd, with a subplot dealing with Jin and someone (or something) that looks like but doesn't act like Claire.

Last week's Lost episode was among the most hated in a few years- mainly because it starred Kate and didn't show the smoke monster as Locke. This week fixed that and then some as the monster showed Sawyer some of the biggest Lost clues ever.
