You may have heard that today is "wear purple" day, and if you have, you probably already know what it's for. Even though Spirit Day is new to us, it asks so little of us, and apparently its sentiment is much-needed right now in the world.

Congressman of Illinois Mike Quigley stopped by Center on Halsted to speak to the LGT community about our issues moving forward. This is my account of what I saw and what really should have been discussed to take back to Washington.
