Worst Vacation

This is a story of the worst vacation I ever had and the things I learned from it.

In 2002, I took a trip from Texas to the Czech Republic that turned into one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. While there were many redeeming moments, the disasters centered around my experiences getting from one place to the next.

When my mother was tired of the Christmas stress, she booked a holiday for the family. Me and my brother were so excited, not knowing that this vacation would be the best and worst Christmas of our lives.

This is a short memory about my worst vacation experience growing up which was a series of unfortunate mishaps.

It was the week before our dream vacation, and the Mexican border was closed to tourists.

I had scheduled a vacation in February to go, and see my family in Baltimore, Maryland but due to a freak snow fall it is very disappointing. I could not drive my car, so had no transportation once we arrived there on the Greyhound bus.

We had managed to contort ourselves into a micro machine, survived 30 hours in the wilderness, narrowly escaped a broken finger and avoided a $25k fine. We were getting home and weren't about to let flight cancellation stop us.
