A technology company called SecuraTrac, LLC created a free service called SecuraChild to help find missing children through social media.

It time to either clear Jerice Hunter or include her. If she is cleared, it is time to go full force into looking for Jhessye. If she is not cleared, that road needs to be traveled. Also, airhead t.v. but no missing children channel.

When Jhessye went missing, the local press was the only coverage there was. After an uproar from the family and the internet, national media showed up. I believe it is prejudice, but not against just Jhessye.

We have enough programs on television that tickle the ears. With the alarming number of missing children, why has not one cable company or television conglomerate come up with help for the families?

It irks me to see a television line-up dedicated to mindless people doing dumb things, when we have thousands of children missing. Why has no major network stepped up and ran with this idea?

It's time for the parents of abducted children to be held accountable. Raising a child comes with myriad responsibilities. Therefore, in this age of the Amber Alert, we must ask the question: what happened to proactive parenting?

Missing children can be endangered runaways, abducted by family and nonfamily, lost or injured. As parents there are many things we can do now, to help keep our kids safe.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Louisiana Department of Social Services are still working to locate 174 foster children from New Orleans who remain unaccounted for since Hurricane Katrina struck.

Since the onset of the Amber Alert system police are able to get information concerning the missing child out to the citizens quickly in hopes of finding the child soon.
