Brentwood trail is one of the trails where it is not certain if it can ever be linked to other greenway trails. In spite of this the trail may eventually reach a length sufficient for a community trail. It is a delightful trail.

Rocky Branch North Carolina State University section is one of the newest sections of the Raleigh Greenway System. Although not truly ready for prime time this length of the greenway has great promise as it must overcome many of the barriers to good use of the ecology.

Shelley Lake is one of the best maintained and most popular greenway destinations in Raleigh. The Parks and Recreation Department has done an excellent job of keeping ready for use.

This is an Update to the North Hills Trail. That connected to the Irongate Trail and the Crabtree Trail makes for one of the longer contiguous stretches of the Raleigh Greenway System.

The Ironwood Trail is part of an extensive set of trails throughout the city of Raleigh that has now extended over 50 miles.

This is a beautiful trail with great views of a city stream that complements the city conditions.

The Gardner Street Trail links the Raleigh Rose Garden at the Raleigh Little Theatre with the National Hemerocallis Gardens (Day Lilies) at Jaycee Park as it passes through a delighful taste of many elements of Raleigh, NC.

The Neuse River Trail follows the Neuse River as it meanders through Raleigh from just south of Buffaloe Road to Anderson Point Park, just north of the 264 bypass.
