How have we changed since the attack on September 11th, are we different now?

I turned on the television to learn that a plane had struck one of the buildings of my employer Morgan Stanley DeanWitter & Co. Discover Card leased the 40 top floors in each tower.

The attack on the WTC in New York that killed so many innocents was a great tragedy. However, there were far greater tragedies on the 11th of September that deserve mention.

September 11th was a day that didn't seem to change me very much at the time, but looking back now, I realize that it has indeed affected me to this day.

The attacks on America 10 years ago have changed everyone in this country. We could look at the past as victims and think that everyone is out to get us, or learn from it and figure out what it could teach us.

Lieb Cellars has produced wines to benefit different September 11th charities for seven years, but this year they are releasing several to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Silver linings? From September 11th? Yes, there are many. My life is far better now than I could have imagined possible. If it weren't for the events of September 11th, I don't know that I would have received the blessings I have today.

Sunday, September 11th, 2011 was a beautiful day in Salem, Oregon. A perfect day for a kid to play. It's okay if you don't want to mourn.
