Hair Bumps

For many individuals, specifically those of African American and African-Caribbean descent, shaving is a dreaded experience because it often leads to the development of razor bumps.

Men are not the only people who get hair bumps. Women often get hair bumps after shaving their legs, bikini lines, and underarms. Hair bumps or bikini bumps can also appear from waxing.

Approximately 30 to 40% of black men have some form of hair bumps or ingrown hairs. Yet, women also have hair bumps, especially women of African descent who shave their face.

If you are an African American male, there is a big chance that you may get hair bumps, neck bumps, or ingrown hairs.
