Boom! Studios is ending the year with some interesting news. Kirsty Cotton, the hero from Barker’s original novella 'The Hellbound Heart,' 'Hellraiser,' and 'Hellbound: Hellraiser II,' will become the new Pinhead in Issue #8 of the hit comic book series.

What do you do when you're a huge movie studio and the rights to one of your most prized franchises is about to run out unless you get a new film released right away? Well, it's pretty obvious. You hurry up and make one so you don't lose those rights.

"The plan right now for Patrick and I would be to get 'Hellraiser' written. We could shoot 'Halloween 3-D' while we're prepping or in post on 'Hellraiser.' It's very possible that could happen."

Hellraisers: The Life and Inebriated Times of Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole, and Oliver Reed is not a great book. Author Robert Sellers appears to have just assembled various anecdotes, the seamier the better, in a loose chronology
