Steve Niles’s graphic novel 'Remains' has received the live-action movie treatment. The film had its sold-out big-screen debut in Lisbon, Connecticut, on Tuesday, December 6. The screening sold out in a matter of two days.

'One of the elements I like about 'The Thing' is that the monster is basically the personification of chaos … possibilities are endless in designing the creature. However, I wanted to keep a very human element to the monster.'

'After a while you just begin to realize reviews are just reviews. I was one of those kids at home flipping channels looking for horror movies. Those are the people that matter. People out there that are looking to be entertained and enjoy a movie.'

'These zombies are completely unpredictable. If you wait around too long they’re moving the other direction. They’re evolving and learning how to use tools. They will learn how to get at you. You can’t just sit back and wait for them to rot.'

'I had to go back and read the comic when they called. I was like, 'Oh yeah. Great!' Then I was like, 'I don’t remember a thing I wrote.' The last thing in the world I’m going to be doing is reading my stuff. I had to sit down and remind myself of it.'
