Was the long war with Iraq worth the enormous death and destruction toll?

Like the rock dropped in a pond, the shockwaves from 9/11 continue to ripple through the life of an ordinary woman a decade later.

Politicians and others are going overboard to make unpopular decisions or policies sound better than they are by changing what they call things. The latest is Kinetic Military Action in the bombing of Libya.

Many veterans have been wounded, some severely, defending our nation. Do the benefits they receive stack up? Do they even get the ones we're told about?

For the Isolationist their ideals revolve around not getting involved in wars around the globe and holding the power within the home country. This is an age old held belief that America should abstain from foreign relations and instead focus on our domestic needs.

What most people do not realize is the families that are kissing their loved ones goodbye and seeing them off at the planes, are also experiencing the war, but doing so on the home front.
