Spore made its first major debut as a 2005 Game Developer's Conference presentation from Will Wright.Through this it became very clear that Spore was already an incredible piece of technology, but just how did it pan out?

In Spore, there are built-in camera functions that allow you to upload to YouTube or send things to friends easily. There's also an entire website devoted to sharing your in-game creations, be they creatures, vehicles, buildings, etc.

I explain the premise of Spore, why it's different from other sim and roleplaying games, how customizable the experience is, and how massive its scope is.

Will Wrights Spore promises to be a great game full of custom-made creatures, buildings and vehicles. Until we can play the full version we will happily be killing the time until release with our custom-made army of six-armed, one-legged, lobster-dog men.
