The 65th Annual Tony Awards aired Sunday. As expected, "The Book Of Mormon" won nine Tonys in the musical categories. "War Horse," with the extraordinary Handspring Puppet Company, won a total of five, including Best Play.

The night was dominated by the religious satire musical "The Book of Mormon" - which captured nine of its pack-leading fourteen nominations.

Of all TV awards shows, Broadway's Annual Tony Awards can be confusing to a national audience. While the 2011 nominations include recognizable names -- Al Pacino, Daniel Radcliff the producers of "South Park" -- most winners will be largely unknowns.
