This is a top down scrolling RPG much light Diablo 2. The main difference in this game, which makes its playability rating a 4 star, is that each dungeon, each time, has a completely different layout. The combat system is very much like Diablo II with a mix of world of Warcraft action bar. Much to its credit it kept the best features of both games. The top down view (slightly askew) is not a new concept but it works well for this type of game. The character combos are interesting without being too over the type. The addition of WOW type actions is a nice touch to the Diablo type RPG's. Although at times you will be dumbfounded by the exact replication of Diablo (even the items popping out of the chest sound and look exactly like Diablo 2) you will love this game.

This is not a must buy game, the graphics are upper-low to mid-range cartoonish graphics. You only get 3 characters to choose from in the beginning, Destroyer, Vanquisher, and Alchemist (warrior, ranger, mage) but the action bar combos make do redeem it from the waste basket. Over all, at $19.99 from direct download, it is worth the money to buy just for the random dungeons.

Diablo II fans! This game will rock your world. This game is so much like D2 that you will find hours of enjoyment. The action bar makes it a slightly different game, and the quests are logged better. This game should be at the top of your list of "ok, I'll buy it" games. As I said not a must have but definitely a must see and play game. Downloadable E-games are a great idea. And at just 20 bucks you can't go wrong. Being a downloadable game, add-ons and expansions should be very easy to integrate. I would look to this type of media distribution as the next evolution in computer gaming.

Playability: 4 stars (random dungeons never get old)

Graphics: 2 stars (very cartoonish)

Controls: 3 stars (decent point and click movements nothing fancy though)

Fun: 3 stars (If you are a Diablo II fan there is more to this game for you)

Overall impression: 3 stars (there just isn't enough here to make it a must have game even at 20 bucks)

***Star Rating system is based on 4 stars for best, 3 stars for great, 2 stars for fair, and 1 star for just okay. A no star rating means the game is horrible.
