The most snow I've ever seen while I've owned the Toro Snow Thrower Powerlite-E is about 18 inches and it was able to handle that barely. It has a 16 inch clearing width, and it throws the snow about 25 ft. You can direct whichever way you want to throw the snow, as there is a swivel to just turn whenever you want to change direction. Starting it is relatively easy, you just turn a key to turn it on, set the choke to the on position and pull the rip cord and your ready to go. I purchased my snow thrower at home depot for $399, but like I said before you can probably get one cheaper.
This snow thrower is small and compact so it is good for getting rid of that snow in small hard to reach places. The Toro Snow Thrower Powerlite-E is also not that heavy for a snow thrower and can be easily picked up and carried up and down stairs as well. The Powerlite-E has a curved rotor system that cleans all the way down to the pavement, unlike other snow throwers which tend to leave some snow there.
The Toro Powerlite-E is a great snow thrower and I have encountered few problems with it, the only problem I did encounter with it is that I had to replace the primer bulb. This a very cheap fix and not much of a problem. The other problems I had were very minor and not much of a big deal.
In conclusion, the Toro Powerlite-E is a compact and cost effective way to save time getting rid of excess snow in the winter. I am glad I put down my shovel and grabbed one of these little Powerlite-E's, because If I hadn't I'd still be out there shoveling snow today. The Toro Powerlite-E is a great snow thrower, and I'd definitely consider buying another one if the one I currently have breaks beyond repair for some reason.

Post a CommentChuck you probably need to drain old gas out if you havnt already and clean the carburetor. Thats a basic quick fix for that machine after that it should be running. Good review. Just Fixed mine and its running great! Also got it for free cuase it wasnt running. Previous owner didn't know what was wrong with it so he gave it to me :D
I have a CCR, also 3 HP. Has Techumseh engine. Ran fine for 2 seasons. This season would not start. No signs of spark. In shop to see what is wrong. It's 3 years old only 2 year guarantee, not very happy with this product at this time.
