With the preseason NBA Europe Live Tour coming to an end, the Toronto Raptors, Canada's one and only basketball team in the NBA, look on anxiously towards the 2007-2008 Season. Past additions for the ball club consists of a variety of players from Europe, including Andrea Bargnani, the number one pick of the 2006 NBA Draft. But GM Bryan Colangelo didn't want to stop there.

Adding to the International flavor, the Raptors aquired 24 year old Carlos Delfino who previously belonged to the Detroit Pistons, in exchange for a 2009 2nd Round draft pick. With a more than just streaky smooth shot and an amazing defensive game, the 6'6", 230 pound Argentinian has proved that his style can blend in smoothly with the Raptors'.

I'm sure you remember the winner of the NBA 3 Point Shoot-out During the All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas of 2007. Jason Kapono actualy tied Mark Price's final round record with 24 points, coming out victorious over Arenas and Nowitzki. With a dazzling 44% field goals, and 46% from the three point line, the 6'8" sharp-shooter makes his way onto the Toronto Raptor team, while showing off his lightning-fast release during the Europe Live Tour.

The road seems brightly lighted for the Raptors, and soon the 2007-2008 Season will be under way.
