Toshiba 40RV525R LCD HDTV Review
The Toshiba 40RV525R is a 40 inch LCD television that has several new and improved features built into it. It measures 39.2 x 25 x 3.2 inches, weighs 39.3 pounds and is somewhat lighter than other similar sized televisions offered by the competitors. The Toshiba 40RV525R's design is simple and the television is enclosed in the standard black and glossy panel. The television stands on a small rectangular stand. The speakers are present just below the screen and they are hidden behind the thin strip that runs around the television panel. Folks who like simple and traditional designs will appreciate the uncomplicated design of 40RV525R.
Toshiba 40RV525R offers a maximum resolution of 1080 pixels. It has a 10 bit video processor and supports scan rate of 60 Hz. This LCD television can play videos at 24 frames per second when you select the cinema mode and has a 8 second pixel response rate. This makes watching fast moving action images a delightful experience. The 40RV525R also has the DynaLight backlight control that automatically adjusts the backlight as per the color of the image being displayed on the screen to create realistic images and deeper colors. The television includes a color temperature control that allows you to adjust the color temperature as per the lighting conditions of your living room. The images that appear on 40RV525R are clear, sharp and rich in color. The backlight feature further improves the sharpness and clarity.
The Toshiba 40RV525R includes 3 HDMI inputs, analog audio output, 2 HD component inputs, Dolby Digital output as well as several other connectivity options that allow you to connect this television with other devices. There is also a gaming mode that works pretty well with most of the games. The 40RV525R consumes very less power and it is Energy Star 3 compliant.
Toshiba 40RV525R is a good LCD HDTV in the 40 inch TV category. If you want to buy a simple and inexpensive medium size television, then you can go for the 40RV525R.
