You have heard this story before, during a pregnancy a woman decides to join a gym and try out some walking, biking and few stair-stepping. But after the child birth, she is unable to give more than 30 minutes for herself. She used to work out for two to three hours, but at that time it wasn't practically possible for her to continue with the same schedule. That was the time when she and her husband decided to slowly build a gym at their place. They started off with a stationary bike.

Now two years later the mom somehow manages to exercise daily before leaving for work. She daily uses a stair-stepper for at least 30 minutes. She prefers sweating in private.

Many people have initially joined gyms, tried their best with high class equipments and often got some fabulous result. But many of them now have children, some of them are burdened with professional liabilities and they do not get any time.

Over the last two decades, the sales of home equipments have sky rocketed.

Everyone who is opting for a new home these days, are looking for a separate room for exercising. The ideal exercise room should be rubber floored and must have mirrors on all the walls. A variety as well as good quality of equipments is essential. You will also find several people who exercise at a health club as well as in the home gym.

To be a regular member of a health club, you need motivation. Buy few types of equipments like a stair-stepper and a treadmill and try them out at home. In gym, you will find most of these equipments are occupied by others and you need to wait for long. Instead of waiting, you can try out aerobics or yoga at the center.

How you can select proper equipment?

Before you buy the equipments, you need to try them out and see how comfortable you feel working out with those equipments. You should be wearing gym's uniform so that you can test the equipments at the store. You should be aware of how much weight you are lifting. Keep you eyes open and keep the weight under control. Gradually you can increase the weights.

Apart from muscle building, you need to concentrate on aerobics too as it makes the lungs and heart healthy. Before buying the equipment, make sure that you have verified the quality of the equipments and you are also feeling comfortable using the equipments.

You will notice the change in your body slowly. Once your resistance goes up, you can try out some more rigorous exercises with increased weights. Do it with love and you will get the return with interest.
